Holy shit. I may be tempted to actually buy this version instead of renting it. It looks alot cooler than the last gen versions did. All the moves look really easy to do.

Yeah. It was originally supposed to be like Super Smash Bros. in that it wouldn't support the Wiimote at all. It was orignally classic controller or bust.
