^ Skinny here is right. It depends on the character really and that's not exactly fair of you to say even if I get your point. To me, I played Smoke in MK9 and if he was DLC even in robo form I would play him because I played Robo Smoke in UMK3 as well. (Still think that's Cyber Sub-Zero.)

I know it's technically a thing, but not nearly on the same level as Jason vs Freddy or Alien vs Predator. It's not significant enough to warrant putting him in this game over someone else.
There being a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the works warrants them putting him in the game to help push sales. They don't care about anything else.
It's idiotic to want MK characters in an MK game? Seems about right lol. As I said, I'm not going to continue playing it so the whole don't like it don't play it thing has kinda already been established. You can make hyperboles and attempt to trivialize my opinion but you're also on here being just as into MK as I am so don't try and make it out like liking a character is some crazy thing to do. Some people might tend to disagree that multiple unreactable 50/50s that lead to full combos are part of well-designed game mechanics but that's a different point. It's ironic that you're trying to make out like you're acting like an adult when you're attempting to patronize me with babyish over-exaggerative crap. If I cared too much then I'd be writing letters and starting petitions and shit but I'm doing what a normal person does: sharing my opinion (since this is an open forum) and not supporting something I don't believe is worth supporting. Why is that so idiotic to you? Should everyone just bend over and let a decent portion of the game eventually become non-MK characters? That's not really MK to me.
that seems to be the bottom line here. I guarantee there were some MK lore purists within NRS that opposed the inclusion of Leatherface, but they were overruled by the bigwigs with dollars signs on their mind.
