I have to strongly disagree. Tanya, Reiko, tai, fujin were amazing characters. Then you got characters like frost, kenshi, Serena that were really good also.I might have been hesitant had I not seen the current new characters. MK doesn't exactly have a history of wonderful character design, and I really feel that 4 and the DA era had some pretty awful characters. They really impressed me with 3 of the 4 new comers(cassie is....safe. Not bad, just boring) by having clean, consistent, and creative ideas on them. If they can keep the quality up, I'm going to be more than happy to see the rest.
Nah, he's pretty much looked "bad ass" every game. He is Ed Boon's golden character after-all.I'd like some of the old characters to return so that they can be done justice in next gen technology. Really, NRS can make any character interesting if they want to, doesn't have to be a new character, could even be someone from the 3d MKs *dun dun dunnn* I mean even Scorpion looks bad ass, something which hadn't been achieved since MK3.
Cyborgs are lame, demons, monsters, and beasts are where it's at.
By looks, I'm also referring to how he's presented in game, and lately Scorpion had been lame as fuck.Nah, he's pretty much looked "bad ass" every game. He is Ed Boon's golden character after-all.
i dont like bug girl(d'vorrah?) either but i think she fits and all of the new characters so far do.I don't like the bug lady, but my main concern about her is that she doesn't fit in MK, she looks like a Mass Effect character, and while Ferra/Torr look really fun and interesting I don't get the feeling of them as MK chars, even Kotal Khan seems off place. It's not that I don't like them, they just make the game feel so different. The MK team had already made a bet for new characters and it went wrong back in MK4, in MKDA and in MKD. Some of those characters are good, but excepting Kenshi and Havik none of them were great, they all need a lot of work. I'm afraid that will happen again.
