I don't know if morphing into minus frames is a winning strategy but it is such a strange mixup that I wonder if you could use it well with certain characters like maybe Havik armors afterward.

S3 does jail into a bunch of options like fireball into kameo or Shujinko apep punch so you could condition it up

Its minus frames with push back tho so there's nothing that they can do to jail you. Thus counter play becomes available. Also, its coming from Stand 3 which is normally +2 so they wont be itching to press a button. The ultimate goal to learning shang is to learn everyone to enough of a degree that you can freely morph and therefore having access to two movesets instead of 1. When you do learn everyone you then have to learn how to dance between two styles. I play shang very tag-oriented so its an important button for me.
