Since they confirmed on stream that they can't do genderswap premier skins due to 'female hitbox issues' (whyyyyy NRS), I'm a lot less hype. I was really hoping for Batwoman, Mera, etc.

I'd rather Mera be her own character if she's going to appear in the game honestly. Her chances seem decent too given the upcoming movie appearance and all that jazz.

Honestly, the one thing I really want is a Watchmen character. If we don't get one as a full DLC character, I'll take one as a skin. Nite Owl for Batman or Blue Beetle; Comedian for Deadshot; Silk Spectre for one of the female characters; Rorschach for Joker or Scarecrow or whoever, I don't really care. I don't care if it doesn't even match up completely. After all, we never saw too much of how the Watchmen fought back in their prime, so we don't 100% know for sure. Some kind of Watchmen in some version is better than nothing in my book. Ozymandias as Flash, fine, Ozymandias as Swamp Thing, fine, I really don't care as long as I have one.

Agreed 100%, but since MKX only had *one* female DLC character I'm preparing myself for disappointment.

Yes.

With 9 DLC characters I think the most females we can hope for from NRS is probably 3.

Starfire gets one of those slots. That leaves two more slots, potentially, and many many popular characters who could fill them: Mera, Vixen, Huntress, Batwoman, Katana, Star Sapphire, Circe, or even a return by Raven, Hawkgirl, or Killer Frost.

And that's me being optimistic. Tanya was the only female out of 8 DLC characters in MKX. If they repeat that ratio, then Starfire might be all we get.

I think both a Adam West skin for Batman and Heath Ledger skin for Joker are both unlikely since because in order to get the likeness rights, they would have to ask both of the actor's families as well to be allowed since it is posthumous.

His gear is super lame. At least his head gear. I can't believe there's no bearded option. His crowns all look dumb AF. Just give me a beard and a hook hand!
