I think people still don't realize how fucking retarded Raven is but whatever.

I think best trait most important factor is what you have to do to get it and what it does even you have it. For example, Sinestro has an amazing trait but it takes a lot of time to get it out. While on the other hand Bane, Raven and Zod just have to activate trait and then you have hella armor on specials or fullscreen 50/50's into full combo or Huge chip, meter build and insane zoning and anti-zoning so i think out of those 3 their traits make them who they are.

zod stops his opponent to try anything at all at the second his trait is out, you have to sit there and block zod until his trait is gone.

I think Batman has the best trait in the game, you guys.

He uses it for everything. Pressure, counter-poking(to an extent), whiff-punishing, getting in, anti-air. Just the threat of Mechanical Bats can stop people from moving and can keep people in long block string pressure.

Brief Descriptions:

Aquaman - ability to block combos as long as Aquaman's feet are touching the ground.

Bane - for level 1 and 2, gains one hit of armor and increased damage output on all special moves. Level 3 breaks armor, ignores projectiles, deals more damage than any other damage boost in the game, and reduces damage taken by 30% for a mere cool down of six seconds.

Batman - summons three mechanical bats that can be released at any time unless in block or hit stun.

Black Adam - summons three unblockable orbs that do minor damage.

Doomsday - gains infinite amount of armor for a short period of time. Takes less damage and cannot be knocked down or juggled but can suffer hit stun.

Flash - considerably slows down the opponent and environment for better combo opportunities and frame traps.

Lex Luthor - gains one hit of armor. There are 3 levels of trait charge, with each cutting the amount of damage Lex Luthor takes. Level 3 reduces damage by 100%.

Martian Manhunter - improves range on all normal attacks and provides slight damage increase.

Raven - enters a stance that provides new and improved special moves that increase overall zoning and anti-zoning potential.

Sinestro - creates a construct that can release one shot at a time (for total of three) at any time unless in block or hit stun.

Solomon Grundy - performs a throw that can either increase power or health or decrease chip damage taken.

Superman - enters a state of rage in which he does more damage and breaks armor of any kind.

Zod - summons a monster that follows the opponent. The monster can perform two moves at Zod's command at any time unless in block or hit stun.

There are obviously better traits but Lobos trait is so good. The increase range and damage on shotgun is ridiculous.

I mean those bats are annoying by they don't trade well with nuke shells bastiche!

Eh... "A mere cooldown" makes it really sound like a bill. I mean it is, but not to that degree.
"In exchange for a debilitating cooldown which increases damage taken and reduces mobility" would be more accurate, but I mean its your list. You could even copy paste that quote if you want, if it'd make it easier.
I appreciate the expansion though. You almost make Bane sound top 10 xD

When you have someone like Max use Bane correctly and take advantage of his ridiculous tools, he is most def top 10.
I fight other Bane's and they make him seem pretty bad, even though the character negates pretty much everyone's wakeup game.

There is always a possibility of Zod's trait mixups actually being defended against, or, say, Zod only settling for throw damage while its out-- in this case, the Zod then has to deal with an exceptionally LONG cooldown.

It's a bit like a zoning version of Doomsday's trait, where the plaayer presses 4, and then forces their opponent to play their game for a brief period of time, but both traits can still be fought against adequately sometimes.

Aquaman's trait will be more consistent than this-- it's what allows him to absolutely body certain characters, as only Grundy and Killer Frost have reliable one hit launchers. EDIT: Bane's grabs are pretty good, too.

Aquaman can get out of would-be combos not only once with his trait, but as many times as possible until even water-sweat-grease goes away.

Batman and Zod.. Like I've recently said to a friend of mine. Who else in the game kan block and attack at the same time?

Batman's just by itself is better since it komes back faster and is MUCH easier to raw activate but Zod has tools to enable his trait activation.

Aquaman is also a kontender because as many have said: Defense wins games. And he gets his shit for free a lot of times...

Well anyway, those are the three I voted for...

It's actually 10-0. Bane always wins.

On this I think the best trait goes to either Batman or Zod.

AMs is great but most characters have ways around it (e.g. d2, command grabs, other 1 hit launchers)

Raven's trait is also insane, that shit comes back way too fast ._.
