What Is Apex Legends?

I only speak when I have what to say, as well.
But I like to discuss things and I'm a pretty emotional speaker when I feel strongly about something.

This all sounds quite interesting. But is there a mode to battle it out all by yourself? Or it has to be teams of 3?

Only teams of 3, though sometimes people will quit before the game loads. I've played solo a couple of times.

Really put off by the art style. Was hoping for a Overwatch meets Battle Royale but not feeling it yet. Trying to learn the game with the Pathfinder robot guy but so far, I don't get the hype.

Only BR you' I've had fun with. Classes with small but fun abilities really helps reach match feel different. The ping system really changes the way you can deal with team members without a mic. I played with 2 guys speaking Portuguese the other day and we were totally in sync. I like the loop of random equipment --> dogfight --> upgrade equipment --> repeat

It's not a perfect game but pretty fun so far and none of the characters or gear is too good.

I've been playing the fuck out of it, mainly because I have nothing else to play at the moment, but also because the class system is a nice change up from all the other battle royale games and makes it interesting to play since you have defensive abilities, dedicated healers, traps, ziplines, and portals.

It's far better than Fortnite or Pubg. Will it last? Not sure. And for me, obviously I'll move on to other games when they come out (mainly mk11).

It looks like a fun game, I love the fact that there are classes and you play teams - though I wish it looked a bit more realistic. The reason that I can't stomach Overwatch and Fortnite is because of the bright colors. I used to play Dayz back when it was a mod and got into H1Z1, I'm just more attracted to the gritty, military type of BRs.

I'll definitely try it out tho, can't be worse than BO4.

Yeah that's kind of my problem with BRs in general too I think. I'm playing For Honor right now until Anthem release and then MK11.

Agreed, they need more specialized characters like tanks, healers and some trappers would be good too.

So far I've been making my own style of class called "bullet fodder" where my role is wander around and get shot in order to alert my teammates to the other players.

I can only play Lifeline so many times lol. I do play Pathefinder and Wraith, but I'm horrible with them.

Definitely need more tanks and supports. We have enough DPS classes for now.

Awww ahaha XD the problem is people drop down to quickly, I usually wait until the end of the line and then hit the military bases. Getting into fights right away is not a good idea, your team is running to get guns and you're scattered which is never good.

I just hate when I'm not the jump master and they bring us down in the most populated area I'm just like 'Bruh you trying to kill us?'

I just had my second match and deinstalled the game afterwards. BR is just not my thing. I want to kill shit all the time and when I die, I want to respawn a couple of seconds later and then continue killing shit. In BR games I run around like a headless chicken looking for opponents for way too long. And when I check out a stream, I see players running around and doing nothing for up to 10 minutes as well. So you're playing a game without actually playing.
