Eughh, I had that one. I don't think I ever got past the second fight. This one
I really liked it as a kid, can't remember why tho..Eughh, I had that one. I don't think I ever got past the second fight.
For me, it had a lot to do with the opening cut scene. That thing was awesome, especially considering the power of consoles it was ported to.I really liked it as a kid, can't remember why tho..
KoF13's execution is probably the hardest in the series, but yeah all the old KoFs have easy execution.MVC2, Melee, & HNK are the hardest by a long shot
MVC2 & Melee have tons of VERY demanding movement techniques that you have to have down or else you are not competeing at all. HNK is a game all about system mastery due to all the espteric system glitches you have to take advatange of & understand.
GG is really overblown as an executionally demanding game same with KOF.
XIII's is actually th easiest lol, lots of buffers & shortcuts to make execution easy plus unlike 2k2 when HD mode is activated it autodashes for youKoF13's execution is probably the hardest in the series, but yeah all the old KoFs have easy execution.
The jabs aren't really that hard, the hard part is keeping the combo count just right to activate a glitch allows the loop, getting the TK distance for the stab right, & not overshooting your boost jab cancel. Plus on some characters you have to do the wall bounce glitchLiterally HnK's execution is ridiculous along with melee. In HnK raoh's bnbs are 100%s after you link his trident he has a shit ton of jabs after into etc. The 10+ jabs are each 1 frame links into each other. Top raoh players drop their Bnbs quite a bit because of it. Correct me if im wrong @haketh
its stricter timing on dps and things, you have to be fast with hit confirmsand there a few characters who are high exec., its not that crazy tbh. I think sf4 is easier to dp and wakeup in consistently because you can mash but the combos are much more difficult. The most technical aspect is parry timing and stuff like that but that is learned overtime and its not really finger twisting its more having a great feel for the game and making reads and proper timing, barring parrying entire supers. What about Third Strike? I'm not sure where it ranks. I've just heard it's a hard game execution wise.
I was really good at smash 64, to properly combo you needed to understand the characters weight, damage, and position and properly time and control your jump height and normal hitboxes in order to send them in the proper location to follow up. Watching someone like ISAI play is crazy.MKX players whine when their combos don't work on Cassie, and think it's insane that they have to learn a second set of combos for one particular character.
In Melee, every single combo in the game is character dependent, and every single character has a different combo for every character. And the combo further varies based on how much health the opposing character has left.
This probably isn't execution per say - less about the difficulty of executing something, and more about knowing what you need to execute in every situation. However, i think melee is the hardest fighting game by a decent margin.
Honestly 3S is a lot easier in a nuch of aspects tahn SFIV. A lot less reliant on complex OSes, less links, more chains ETC. SFIV in a lot of respects is harder execution wise than most SF games outside of ST.its stricter timing on dps and things, you have to be fast with hit confirmsand there a few characters who are high exec., its not that crazy tbh. I remember just mashing out the directional inputs and Fierce punch once I connected with the grab lol, I still don't know how people found that it was possible though.Third Strike is an odd one. It's reasonably easy to access and learn basic BnB's, but then there's this sudden leap in execution required to do the harder stuff. At least that's my experience of it. Several characters have some insane combos in that game. There's one where Ryu combos throw into shin shoryuken, which I find crazy even exists. Watch a video of Ryu's 3S Online edition trials. Dudley is flat on the ground when the special connects in a game that doesn't have OTG's. How somebody figured out that was a possibility is beyond me.
the stuff in the trials is purposefully difficult. there is some hard execution in SF4 but what you do in the trials aren't your bnb's lolStreet Fighter 4 is pretty difficult for me. I can do the basic stuff (Hadouken, Shoryuken, etc.) but some of the combos in the trials are ridiculous lol
