I've said this before: Hawkgirl is a "meta-breaker" in that she is very good against some of the best characters in the game, but still isn't top tier herself because she has some "stinker" (Trademark AK Glass_Sword ) match-ups. And if you are unfamiliar with the HG match-up, forget about; You've already lost against a good one like Pimpimjim.

There is no such thing as a good Lex. There is only bad Lex Luthor and good Sex Luthor

Yeah, Lex is another example. PPJ's lex is good and he blew me up bad the first few times...but it gets better with MU experience.

Lex isnt top 5, neither is Bane or Grundy or Hawkgirl.

If that didn't stop those charactets from making top 8 at a competitive major then what does it matter if a character is top 5 or not?

My thoughts:

1) I've always felt the tier list doesn't matter quite as much in this game as some other FGs. Anyone beyond the bottom 5-10 is viable, and NEC proved this
2) MMH is still #1, tournament placings shouldn't be used to determine tier placements in a game as unpopular as this one (compared to Smash and Marvel where there are enough tourneys/players for the data to even out)
3) Bladam is still really good, definitely top 10
4) I thought Supes got a lot shittier after the patch, I still think he's a shadow of his former self. Maybe top 10 still? I dunno, he's just...not the same character
