Justin can no longer fall asleep. He has the headache of the century, due to the anger caused by VxG. He plans to gamble away his life savings in hopes of cheering himself up from this horrid evening. Let's hope his luck turns around!
Day 2 begins today. No word from Justin. He is presumed ded.

New confirmation for 2013 VxG Marvel champion: Perfect Legend
Confirmation on why Tom Brady decided not to attend VxG has been revealed. During last night's Next Level Battle Circuit, Tom stated that St. Maarten has recently completed a full beach cleanup and "will not allow trash on da beech."
There is apparently something in the water of St. Maarten. CDjr has consumed this water and is expressing his unthinkable actions over Twitter. Hopefully one of the FGC people can hold him back before he ends up on Kotaku!

I am awake and ready to start the day. First, I would like to recap a bit on day 2. Looks like the FGC is having the time of their lives! Let's look at how people are enjoying their stay at St. Maarten and "never want to leave this paradise!"

In other news, PR Balrog seems to be enjoying his stay at da beech. However, he cannot find anybody to enjoy it with and seems to be completely lost and hungry. I believe that he is actually at the wrong beech and may be stranded/looking for civilization. Please pray for Eduardo.

Day 3 has started. Justin begins his first troll. He doesn't want the community to feel left out from missing out on da beech, so he is covering up his excitement. Well done, Wong! Almost fooled me!

VxG confirmed for FGC TO. They now possess the right to say that they run tournaments as an official FGC organizer.

Word on the street is that there are about 30 entrants for Marvel. If you register at home right now, you have a good chance to place top 32 in your first Marvel major!!

Johnny Tsunami's grandfather (Shang Tsung) is confirmed to be MIA from VxG. He will not be of attendance.
Also, there seems to be about 30 entrants for MK and (probably wrong) apparently about 5 entrants for Tekken and Persona.

THE_RAGE_10 has made his 20th appearance on stream. He truly embodies the motto "never give up." I believe he has what it takes to eventually make it to top 8. Also, to clear confusion, there are 2 16 man brackets for MK.
DJ L Toro has been confirmed for most knowledgeable commentator. His "Kabal is broken and braindead" argument seemed to go MIA when Perfect Legend was sent to losers by 16 Bit.

The Mortal Kombat Saga continues. With 36 entrants, there have been some fierce matches represented on stream. There have been some upsets like THE_RAGE_10 defeating SUKUZABI for the 7th time, but there could only be one true standout of the tournament; DJ L Toro. Toro represented extremely strong footsies, fundamentals, mb b3s, and general Kitana gameplay. He breezed his way through the fierce competition of LOCO4U69 and EMP | VXG | DABEECH 2 REEL. He gracefully danced to his favorite remix of Cher's "Believe," after defeating his last opponent in top 16. Toro popped off with the utmost respect and his fate was announced to him. "You have one more match for top 8." Toro is now waiting for his last match into top 8. Everybody pump him up and help out your NEW NUMBER ONE KITANA OF THE WORLD!

VxG is apparently taking the smart path of the rich by following in MLG's footsteps. Currently, it is taking about 6+ hours to complete a 36 man tournament. Sike! Almost done with top 16. The reason behind this may be because of the constant 15 minute-1 hour breaks after 1 or 2 matches, but we'll say it's because of unforeseen circumstances.

Chris G has disappeared from the brackets amazingly! He may be a better magician than pboardplayer because of this feat alone! Also, apparently some players in the brackets have played 3+ times.

We saw some dropped/whiffed punishes on stream, but it seems the real punishment was happening off stream on da beech!

It seems the ocean was not the only thing on da beech containing salt! Kitana of America, DJ L Toro, expresses his feeling towards his experience. This shows that even the greatest can be defeated! (With the help of broken Kabal!)
i got 9th to kabal (curbo/jr). i'd beat either of them without kabal
This post only assures one thing. Kabal is broken and either needs to be banned or nerfed. #NerfKabal2013.

Guys, pls don't get my thread closed down. The forums are becoming lively again, but we need to remain somewhat civil as well. I respect Rolando as a person and he did a fantastic job promoting his event, but VxG wasn't able to properly execute their promises. As a tourist attraction, VxG is wonderful. Many of the attendees are loving the atmosphere of da beech and they're enjoying the parties/hanging out with everyone. However, VxG could not provide for those who went only for the tournament. VxG 2013 should be seen as a vacation rather than a tournament. Hopefully Rolando learns from this experience and partners up with Jebailey or another respected tournament organizer, so that someone can produce a well ran tournament rather than an on-the-spot tournament.
