congrats to reo,hands down the best kabal player and congrats to my brother for taking second place.now i have this to say,its true that it takes a lot of skills and execution to play kabal but just because of that he shouldnt be so broken and completely safe on everything he does and have safe 50/50s of any string or normals.that overhead and saw should be at least -16.im not taking credit away from reo at all like i said he is the only that can do this for now.other kabal players are gonna start doing the same shit in time its just that reo is better than 90% of the community and thats why he is so good with kabal but other kabal players are gonna get there or at least close.i mean look at detroit he doenst main kabal or seconds him and he almost beat reo at mlg lol aint that some shit. reo better hope that maxter doenst pick up kabal or CD because they are getting mad and tired of losing to the same bull shit at every tourney.i still love you reo and got mad respect for you but everytime you beat my brothers with kabal im sorry i cant lie but i do lose a little of respect for you just because of the character that you play.one more thing if reo beats me at two majors in a row im gonna drop jax and main kabal 100% idgaf im gonna expose kabal until he gets nerfed

In all honesty - I'm not sure it's possible to balance Kabal adequately in a 2D MK game while keeping the character true to his first appearance.

He's either going to be amazing due to both great zoning and in close pressure options or terrible if you make certain things unsafe or things slower. The very character design is IMO terrible - tons of options up close and from afar. By contrast, other characters are balanced around being great one way or the other or merely good in both ways. But Kabal's very character design - from MK3 - is broken.

It's simple, just tweak the frame advantage. They did to KL why not to Kabal? Or like i said, make nomad dash not fucking cancellable.

With all the counterpicking going on, all the exploits being used etc I don't see why Reo using Kabal is so unforgivable.

Kevo won one tournament with kabal. Only guy besides reo. I think it'll be a long time before anyone else gets to reo s level with kabal. Just like cdjrs jax. Lots of em out there only him and tyrant winning tourneys. It all comes down to the players. Enough with the nerf chatter. The game has been out for a year. Save that shit for the next one. Hopefully spring 2013? :)

Lol. The first thing that comes to mind, trying to imagine the look , is when they tell the characters in Jurassic Park that they are breeding Velociraptors. hahah NRS should watch Jurassic Park before they balance games.
