Hey, Internet! This past weekend we've had a big regional tournament that is the closest thing to our one and only major. This time Ekaterinburg Fighting Arena took place at a new venue - namely Ural Game Area, a specialized eSports arena that is going to host various tournaments in both big and small eSports.
We've had players from all across Urals and a few visitors from Moscow attending the event. There were three main games - Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Street Fighter V and Mortal Kombat XL.
We've started on Saturday morning with GGXrdR and from the beginning of the pools we knew that the competition would be fierce since every pool had more than two people that were well known in Russia and were contenders for top-8. And after very intense and dramatic matches TND | Ashimriat from Novosibirsk came out victorious. Check out more below:
After that Street Fighter V tournament took place. We've also had setups ready for the people participating in the EU CPT Ranking Event. And some players had to play in both tourneys. A lot of excellent neutral game and a few incredibly hype and close sets and TORNADO ROX | Fidoskin took the first place with OP | flcl finishing second and OP | Kewdzo third.
MKXL tourney began on Sunday morning. We've only had 28 people registered and probably you guys only know Vladee7R out of all those 28. Other top MK players could not travel for various reasons and unsurprisingly Vladee7R grabbed the grand prize, however after being reset in the Grand Finals by JohnnyInTheDark.
And yet after that we've had our usual fun fighting games related action - Random MashMare. 16 randomly picked players have been randomly put into teams of two and played random 2vs2 games. A lot of hype, outstanding adaptations and overall gaming joy is how this all can be described.

Commentary is in Russian this time since the vast majority of our viewers were Russians.
