you now know not to face him again, and now thanks to your post all of us now know too, he will continue to do this BS to unfortunate strangers who will also not fight him again, hes gaining nothing, wasting his own time.

I know man, but I'm not going to tolerate that shit. If we can report his lame ass, he's definitely going to get banned. I have the proof, I have pictures, and from what I've read on other MK forums, people know that this guy is a shit stain on the MK community.

I know all games have pathetic players like that, but I'm not going to take that shit. It sucks that as a guy who plays fairly, there are other assholes who get away by doing stuff like this.

I haven't been able to find any other information or videos on this glitch, so I've created a higher quality recording of it in action as well as wrote down my finding about it so far. Any information other people can provide will be helpful!
From my video's description: I basically reproduced many of the conditions from the original video, though the full combo is not necessary to activate the glitch (you can just do bomb, net, hat assist). Though my testing has been limited, I have not been able to get this to work on a standing opponent or an opponent who is not very close to the ground. In addition, every time I have been successful with the glitch I have been pushing into the opponent's body. If I find out more information, I will update this.

So what actually makes it happen? Could be that 2 extenders stops the opponent in place, if so, the same can be done with sub :/
i heard somethin about that sub can actually freeze opponents in tag completly like this :/

You can't blame him for using something that is in the game. Everyone wants to win and some will do it by any means necessary. Instead of bashing this guy (as well as many others) for "exploiting" the game, why don't you start holding NRS responsible for allowing these exploits to exist? This is supposed to be competitive game that is supposed to be as glitch-free as possible and yet there has been so many gamebreaking BS glitches in this game (Kung Lao infinites, Cyrax infinite, Block Infinites, Freeze bugs, Freedy's non-existent damage scaling, and projectile invincibility, Invisible forceball). For the good of the MK9 community, let NRS know that we won't tolerate this crap and that they NEED make a stronger effort to test and program their game.

I have not gotten this to work with Cyrax and Sub-Zero. If walking in to the opponent as they are being hit by the assist is something that triggers the glitch, then it wouldn't work with Sub-Zero as the active character is stuck in a crouching state while Sub-Zero does his Ice Beam, allowing the opponent to fall out of the freeze state due to the limit on such moves. If there is a Sub-Zero infinite freeze glitch, it's probably something else entirely or at least requires a different set-up.

The guy is definitely to be blamed. It would be like a baseball player using steroids. Having to resort to that type of stuff is pathetic. Plus on top of that, the guy is just the epitome of someone that's pathetic on the Internet. Just look at the video I posted and see his attitude. I also found the video of another guy who also recorded this trash online:


That's inexcusable.

Baseball player on steriods? You do realize that you and any other decent player can perform this glitch too and just like that, you will be on an even playing field. Who cares how he does it. A win is a win.What inexcusable is why this BS is in the game in the first place. When you look in the back MK9 disc box, you see that tag-team is one the main features that is being promoted in the game and yet you're treated to this half baked product. This player did not program this game, NRS did. Make them responsible, not him.

Again, that's not an excuse. The guy is exploiting the game. Is doing something that's not intended to be in the game, but for whatever reason it is. If it was ok or acceptable in any way, it would be ok for anyone to use this anywhere. But like I mentioned, have someone do this glitch on a tournament, and they would get their ass kicked out of the door.

Add to that the fact that he does stupid crap like tea-bagging, jumping from side to side, and sending messages to other players, and you have someone that has to be banned from the game and service.

Don't think he was bashing people who use steroids for medical reasons, I think he meant using it as a performance enhancer to give an advantage.

Anyways I think these videos are funny, because I always try to picture what these sad people look like. Imagining how happy they are that they got a virtual win, because they know they'll never accomplish an irl win.

Unless the tournament does not have a rule banning glitches, then it's fair game. I saw someone use reptile's invisible forceball glitch at EVO and that player wasn't banned. If you are offended from his messages, or his tea bagging then you can report him for that reason, but not because of this glitch.
Stop making excuses to cover NRS's incompetentcy. They allowed this to happen.

You seriously believe this would get accepted on a tournament? You are on crack. Maybe that Reptile thing you mention was overlooked, but something like this wouldn't ever, ever, ever be accepted.

I do agree that it's also NRS fault, although I can't judge them too harshly because they obviously didn't know something like this was present. I will only judge them if they don't acknowledge and fix this crap and give the guy what he deserves.

You can't juge them too harshly? Do you think that this is the first time that a game-breaking glitch was discovered on MK9? There were some glitches that were discovered on Day 1 of its release. The point is that NRS did not make a strong effort in polishing this game and they are not getting enough criticism for it. You can continue blaming this player for "exploiting" the game but soon there will be another player, and another player, and then another etc. Are you going to advocate the banning of those players as well?
