This is My Opinions
1 Locals should not count towards results. This is a time for people to practice possible new characters, get their feet wet, win some trael money for bigger tournaments depending on the local.. Yes The Break and NLBC was stacked that one week but it does not matter. As for king saying yomi locals are better than some majors. I call bullshit on that. Yes Yomi is very strong. But we have seen other players who travel do amazing. Also its not Our fault that all of Yomi was not at those tournaments.

Also OMG you beat XYZ at the tournaetment so i am better than them. Riddle me this. Did you win the tournament? NO THEN WHO FUCKING CARES if you beat Beat XYZ at that one tournament and only once. Did you win that tournament? YES. Good fucking shit man.

Also from what i have viewed out of all of Yomi DJT and MIT have been the most consistent from start to finish. From what i can recall the only time they did not get top 8 was at Combo Breaker. We also need to consider how Stacked a tournament was to some extent. And that is where we look at Honeybee who got top 8 at both Evo and CEO. And if we are going to add the rule of who he beat in this since it was done He beat sonicfox to get into top 8. The person who is first on that list.

Yes technically Honeybee has not had as many top 8 as certain people. That is understandable. But he has consistently shown that he is able to get top 8, beat higher level players such as yomi, sonicfox, ect. I think getting 3rd at Evo really pushed him into that Top 5 spot even though he only has about 3 Top 8's that I can remember and one of them was a Win(Canada Tournament).

We do need to consider out of country tournaments. Considering that Europe is now home to 2 Evo top 8 placers and the same goes for Canada. And just in general.
My List would be something like:
Sonic Fox: 17 Year Old Fox God
Foxy: God Of Europe.
DJT: DEE JAY TEE
Honeybee: NOT THE BEES
5: This pick is the hardest. Cause you have great players like King, MIT, REO, Ect. But i would have to say MIT Because he is very consistent like his brother. But i feel he is missing something that will really push him into that win.

Wound's victory at egl is impressive but slightly overrated imo.
Wound didnt face sonicfox because djt double eliminated him.
Reo picked up a young bs shinnok and beat djt at a yomi local 3/5 grand finals. Djt only played lao.
Djt played tremor the entire tourny. Meaning his lao had to have been rusted. Watch the last game again and see how djt doesnt even ex spin jump ins.

You have to go through a fucking army to climb to the top of a Yomi local lol. It is impossible for you to get top 3 at a Yomi local without beating at least 3-4 of the best players there.

That's way harder then going to lets say TCW for example, mopping your pool of no names then beating a decent player who isn't Yomi/Sonic to make top 8

That wouldn't settle things 'cause what Foxy said is right. King got beat out of the tournament. A win is a win, and there are so many different styles of fighting you gotta go through to get to Grand Finals, you gotta know them all and win. Cowboy went through, King didn't. That simple. Cowboy>King "at that tournament".

Also, I don't wanna bash at King but YOMI is not a major. You are right about the competition being so great, but that doesn't change the fact that YOMI is just a casual filled with tons of talent only 'cause they live together. I think that winning or losing at YOMI should be out of the conversation completely.
