As I've said before, the NBC the more you know star isn't the hint, "The Cars" & Upside-down are.

Zatanna seems the most likely choice of who this is hinting at. People generally accept The Cars reference is to their song "Magic" and upside-down could be referring to that Zatanna says her spells backwards.

Or it's way more convoluted than that. Or it's Swamp Thing.

Or it's nothing.

I have no idea how upside-down could be referring to him, but I want it to be lol. For that matter though, using "upside-down" as a reference to her spells being said backwards doesn't really make sense. It's just a bit of a stretch for me.

I've been giving it some thought, and I don't think Scorpion will move at all. But that being said, we didn't get two heroes and two villains the first batch of DLC. I think we got 1 villain, 1 hero and 2 anti heroes or neutrals. Scorpion and Lobo have always been on the fence about different things in their respective universes, not really playing for either side exclusively. So with this new batch we will most likely get two heroes and 2 villains. So everyone who is hoping for like 5 heroes needs to be realistic. I think at this point it's safe to say the next character is most likely Zatana, would have preferred Black Canary but if it is Zatana then that is the best news cause that would mean that "leak" is BS. Still hoping I'm wrong and it is Black Canary

Ah, it is all so clear. "Upside Down" was a hit song by Diana Ross from her first solo album which debuted in 1980. The New Teen Titans debuted in 1980, including Deathstroke, Raven, Cyborg, and... Starfire! Starfire being the only 1980 debut from the Teen Titans that we don't already have.

Now, combine that with the first clue, "The Cars" and.... and.... Heck, I don't know how the first clue applies to Starfire. Oh well.

And the fact that she's one of the top martial artists (males included) makes her more suited to a game like this than Zatanna. That quick grappler that I've heard people talking about in reference to Power Girl? That could easily be Canary. Plus sonic attacks. Unique, and cool, in my opinion.

As much as I think Zatanna could be cool, her style would be hard to translate into a fighting game. She mostly always just says stuff to cast spells and that's it. I suppose they could get creative and she could be really interesting though.

Not to mention she's one of DC's most important female characters. She was a founding JL member, she's led the team, she had a starring role in a series that's been running for like seven years.
Her and MMH really should have been in from the start.

I hope it's Red Hood so they can get the shitty character out of the way early and not keep me in suspense for disappointment.

Besides, character #2 will probably be a villain and Red Hood is the most popular villain choice by far because people have terrible taste.

Maybe Diana = Dinah, Black Canarys "real" name?

also, NBC has BC = Black Canary in it. Maybe New Black canary (younger version?)

On the off chance that Red Hood's trailer just totally *wows* me, I'll definitely buy him. I just don't think we need another Batman character, or another Deathstroke who just has some stupid jump-the-shark gimmick attached to him so fuckface fantards can say "ZOMG LOOK HOW U-NEEK HE IZ."

The most likely character has got to be Zatanna. The first clue is the band The Cars and not a vehicle, so the Red Hood argument is out. One of their songs is Magic, a very big clue there so we know it's magic-based.

Second clue is Upside Down, which may refers to Zatanna's way of spell casting, or a song by Jack Johnson, but that's a bit of a reach since no song is really hinted in Boon's tweet. Now there will be at least one more clue so you never know, but Z is the safest choice right now.

She is also known as nova, which is a type of car. hmm, may be wrong about alias of nova. I'm looking on some wiki site

Lets be serious here, Zatanna sounds cool on paper. Black canary sounds like a better fit game play wise...BUT THEY STILL ARE NOT BOOSTER GOLD! I would play this game so much more if I had Booster Gold.
