in the 90s no one here had an idea what they are, all we had were the console ports which, needless to say, couldn't compete with their counterparts

the really sad part is that even today, when there's MAME and other convenient ways to play arcade games, they don't get nearly as much love as they deserve or get overlooked in favor of ports which people are more familiar with
