Exactly... Whats up with the new announcer shouting "ultraaa" when is actually "ultra comboooo"It wasn't hype because you couldn't hear this blasting through the speakers:
The new announcer only says the combo name, like "Blaster", but he never says "Combo" afterwards which is really lame. Plus the new "Ultra" scream sounds retarded, they could've at least made it echo like the SNES version.Exactly... Whats up with the new announcer shouting "ultraaa" when is actually "ultra comboooo"
It doesnt matter id combos take "skill" or not, what really matter is how are you gonna get the hit for the combo vs a top player?I don't understand how you can actually call it combo , fair enough different fighting games have different engines....but how much skill does this take exactly? durag is myfriend in fact i'm not putting him down , i'm putting down that damn game!
I know the announcer should also shout out Combooo at the end of every combo like KI1 and the Ultra scream is actually pretty good its just missing Comboooo at the end!The new announcer only says the combo name, like "Blaster", but he never says "Combo" afterwards which is really lame. Plus the new "Ultra" scream sounds retarded, they could've at least made it echo like the SNES version.
You kids obviously never played KI in the arcades back in the day... this brought back memories with how getting that big Ultra felt.
I remember those days and have a fond memory of "accidentally" activating my first Ultra Combo with Cinder. It was incredible!!!!!You kids obviously never played KI in the arcades back in the day... this brought back memories with how getting that big Ultra felt.
Indeed it was.I remember those days and have a fond memory of "accidentally" activating my first Ultra Combo with Cinder. It was incredible!!!!!
I spent every weekend at my local arcade playing the hell out of that game, it was good times.
Low damage Ultras were the way to go and I was pretty good at activating them as soon as the opponents life bar began to flash. I played Cinder quite a bit and would bump up the hit count with his (infinite) air juggle; it was completely unnecessary but there was something satisfying about seeing ULTRA COMBO with 50+ HITS. Unlocking Eyedol and trolling with his corner infinite was also really fun.Indeed it was.
When playing people who were good, it was extremely rare to get a high-hit ultra because they knew where to break, so you had to change it up and use much smaller combos into Ultras or Ultimates. Man... I miss these games. I can't tell you how many 20-hit Jago Ultras I got lol (the ultra did 18 hits)
If it helps, when they streamed this game at E3 the chat (mostly FGC people) was hype and people were yelling ULLLTTRRAAAAAAAAs much as I hate Marvel, atleast the combos in that game look great, in this I could see stream monsters tearing this game a new one lol
There's a rudimentary explanation here: http://killerinstinct.gamebub.com/ki2_fighting_tips.phpi've never played KI before, so can anyone explain the gameplay please? i heard that KI has someshit called auto combo system.

The system in KI3 is expanded and more flexible, but those are the basics.
