TYM's 100 Must-See Movies

Braindead

I want Kronika to step on my face
I guess all the good well-known movies will be mentioned, so I'll choose one that isn't well-known:

Finding Neverland.

Well, someone already said Terminator 2 ... so I guess I'll have to go with Frozen (2013). No movie thawed my black metalhead heart like that one since I was a kid. Couple that with it's already showing cultural impact, and I'd say its destined to be the new Lion King.

That's about right.
It's embarrassing Gladiator isn't on that list yet.

Saving Private Ryan
The Green Mile
The Unforgiven
Oldboy
The Departed
Goodfellas
Fargo
Apocalypse Now

I can keep going.

EDIT; I just seen the one movie per person thing, but that's really difficult when you get excited over quality film. I guess Gladiator should be taken into consideration first? It's a tough call.

Movies that changed my life:
-Apollo 13
-Pursuit of Happiness (anyone who's every discouraged should watch this)
-Citizen Kane (one of the best movies ever made, period)
-The Pianist (one of the most realistic depictions of the effects of war)
-It's a Wonderful Life
-Saving Private Ryan
-Shawshank

Movies that were a blast to watch or you should probably see:
-Raiders of the Lost Ark (one of the all-time classic action movies, of all time)
-Memento
-Blues Brothers (one of the best satirical comedies ever made)
-Inception
-Schindler's List
-Lord of the Rings Trilogy
-The Matrix
-Toy Story (1 or 2, although you need to see 1 to see 2)
-The Incredibles
-Shutter Island
-The Dark Knight #1 and #2
-Alien (and Aliens.. both classics)

Films everyone else says you should watch, but I didn't understand at all:
-Apocalypse Now
-A Clockwork Orange
(they both seem like violent pipe dreams)

Feel free to take whichever one. Hopefully the list will inspire some other people.

It's okay, I was never a Kubrick fan either. His films never clicked with me, even The Shining.

This list lacks Horror movies I want to say Saw because I think it's underrated due to people hating the sequels but I'm gonna go with the classic horror movie

The Exorcist- I legitimately think no other movie has done horror right for others it's either jump scares or gore but this movie has so much atmosphere so many unnerving, creepy, and horrifying sequences (crawling down the stares, neck turn) that it really is in a realm of its own. Even today I can go and watch this movie and still feel the same chills I felt the first time. The perfect horror film and to me really the only truly good one (I considers Saw more of a thriller)

Edit: let me also add that the actors did a danm good job selling all of the crazy shit, and the exorcist score is still the best horror soundtrack.
