Trouble vs Smoke.

As my friend learns smoke I am having a harder and harder time beating him with Cyrax. He likes to spam the smoke bomb and back it up with teleports. He will also use the occasional smoke up with a double round houses. All that is blockable, the problem I am having is how to get close to him and punish him for spamming the moves.

Any suggestions ?

Teleport. If you teleport as soon as he uses Smoke Bomb you should be able to punish him. You can also use a jump-in punch if you're close enough. If he starts to anti-air you, teleport mid-air and punish. If he lets you jump-in, doing the jump-in punch into the command grab, then follow with the bomb trap.
