So when a lot of people say they use one of the robots they refer to them as Cyrax, Sektor, Sub-Zero, or Smoke. Triborg seems to be the complete package and his variations offer the most variety in the entire cast. I'm curious if there are any Triborg specialists that utilize all of the variations toolsets? For example, a Quan Chi Summoner player would switch to Warlock if they desperately need armor. If you are a Triborg specialist, which doyou find using most? This thread isn't meant to discuss which variation is the best or if any of them are OP, or if you like the patch. Since most Triborg players have an attachment to a specific robot for whatever reason it may be, it seems they treat it as their own character. I'm wondering about possibilities of being a "Triborg main" rather than a "Smoke main" and how it works.

This dream has a sad ending
each variation is a completely different character with new sets of normals included and a lot of differences between play styles. I think it would be better to say cyrax/sektor/smoke/c.sub

gotta stay sharp!
I play sektor cause of how he plays. He csn play a little safer than like cyrax or smoke. And can control the pace of a match really well. I just dont like how the other robots play.

I main War God now and forever but I love Sektor because he is so similar in damage and footsies except he can get around zoning much easier than Kotal. And they both have gaps, I just love that about them... :(

I know how to play the 3 original robots. I play Smoke, Sektor, and Cyrax in that order. Not interested in Cyber Sub even if he actually is the best one and tbh I don't love how Rax plays in this game so I've been putting a lot more time into the other 2.

Too early for me to tell who's good for each MU, they're wildly different and there are like a billion MU combinations to try out.

Mainly Cyber Sub since Unbreakable is kill and I refuse to be stuck playing GM for the rest of this games life.

I have a preference for alternative playstyles, characters with elemental based powers, or slides, and/or strong corner mindgames. This goes for any game (Ky, Dhalsim, etc).

So for now it's just CSZ. Might pick up Acidic if she has some good corner strats or if they patch her in a slide  There so much depth to CSZ and frankly the other Robots bore me. He also has the best color 2 palette.

I have pretty much become a Smoke main since KP2's release on the 1st but I have toyed with the other variations a bit, and I do plan to learn them all eventually. Right now my attention is on Smoke though, then I will learn Sektor, and then its a toss up as to which of the remaining two variations ill learn next. So I INTEND to be a Triborg "specialist" eventually, but I am such a slow learner that I might be better off just sticking with Smoke for a while lol

Resolution through knowledge and resolve.
My current best Triborg is Sektor and Cyber Sub Zero because they're the easiest to play, but I will eventually move to either Smoke or Cyrax.

I took a short break to round out my Kotal Kahn game by adding War God and Blood God. Now, everyone I play is pure hype!!!

If I were to add anyone else, it would have to be Quan Chi and Tremor. No one else is cool enough to hang anymore. :p

Well, maybe Jax - but I never could get those cancels down.

I'm in a similar position. I stated with unbreakable but he was ass then switched to grandmaster and it's actually pretty fun and now Sektor. I started with CSZ for triborg but Sektor is more enjoyable to me. I wish you were playing Sektor tho because the combo thread for CSZ is bomb as hell. Not that ours is bad it's just there is more discussion in CSZ. That and I dont like people bitching about my character every single match.

Sektor was cool when I played him, and I like that Iron Man-esque style he has with the hand thrusters and missiles. NRS might make a decent Marvel fighter.

As a result of the limited number of functioning nerve endings in my brain and a severely depleted stockpile of brain cells, I am only capable of learning one borg at a time. #U P M I S S I L E B O Y Z

Kenshi Srubtastic,Cyrax, Special Forces Mains
i use Cyrax/
as a main for most matchups, but some give me trouble, since its only 10 dyas since release.

so where i think he has holes in his game like his neutral: example; his D1 gets low profiled ;)

i use
as the close up and personal, which also lets me cling on to my zoning roots.

he is a great zoner but i feel he has a far greater nbeutral and many more mids to play around with.. and as of now he is very tricky in the mixup department, since most his moves look alike, comparable to
's chainsaw strikes and specials

Love Cyrax and well really
,
,
are all great and fun in their own way!

my brother Mains
LK-520 and LK9t9

and he does fine in the matchup department so far, but i imagine once all of them become familiar this will change for all of us assuming they don't get all them nerfed to the ground in the upcomming months
