Why revert back to 2/3 rules? The main thing is to stay in line with the rules EVO and every other Majors has put up.

-There will be a team tournament after MKX Singles reach Top 8. Team Registration after MKX Singles. It will be SBO rules. 2v2 style.
--Team A (1,2) vs Team B (1,2).
--A1 vs B1 (ft2)
--A2 vs B2 (ft2)
--If A wins both matches, they advance
--If B wins both matches, they advance
--If Team A wins 1 and Team B wins 1, both winners of that team will pay each other to decide who advances.
