Because of the thread about the top 10 video games by @Juggs I was curious who everyone's favorite video game characters are.

Only rule is they have to originate from a video game, not "my favorite is Batman from Batman Arkham Asylum", an original video game character.

I don't know if they count, but The Narrator from A Stanley Parable would make the list if he does. Also I love Ethan Carter and his story so he'd be at the top if he does, but most kids in video games I probably get extra attached to, Ethan just had the most memorable story.

Looking at that list I'd say my preference is for funny or insane characters, often blended together, who still manage to remain badass. And Booker :(

No Particular Order, and I'll wager I have maybe the oddest reasons why I like the characters that aren't MK.

1. Kabal (Mortal Kombat 9)
2. Kano (MK)
3. Agent 47 (Hitman Series)
4. Wei Shen (Sleeping Dogs)
5. TK (Driver: Parallel Lines)
6. Max Payne (Max Payne Series)
7. The Outsider (Dishonored)
8. Leo Kasper (Manhunt 2)
9. Ellie (Last of Us)
10. John Marston (Red Dead Redemption)

Sleeping Dogs, Manhunt 2, and Driver Parallel Lines are HIGHLY underrated for their stories and characters.

10) Ardyn Izunia - Final Fantasy 15 (one of the best villains ever!)
