Nice write up. I wish there was a better local scene here, even if I'd have to drive an hour to get to a major city. The last time I went to to a local here it wasn't for the tourney specifically, it was to find some casuals to level up with. Unfortunately the tourney out to be all about the bracket fixing because one of the TO's friend was trying to pay his cellphone bill. Fucking really, but whatever I put him in losers LOL. There was also a lot of shouting, fighting and drama between a bunch of the players and TOs (There were only like 12 people there) over some failed business venture, it just wasn't a friendly atmosphere at all. If you are trying to start a local scene, it should go without saying that you can't be scandalous to the new blood, and you have to be very, very understanding and inclusive.
