Tips on 3,2,1 dash and negative edge spit?

I've been getting the 3,2,1 dash njp -> combo down to over 60% success rate. However as a consequence I find myself getting a bit more negative edge when doing it from the right side and get spits instead. Must be with the speed of execution, any tips on fixing this?

Well since spit is and dash is you must accidentally be hitting .

Try to be more exact doing the moves and then there will be no way to negative edge it.

Are you trying to hit the elbow dash right after the 1?
I hit it like this:

Back
1
Forward + 2
