I disagree with all of these losing MU that you mention especially the Atrocitus and Supergirl. I think Grodd beats atrocitus because his trait with projectile immunity and MB stampede, cancel out Dex-Starr. Supergirl is even. The rest I think are also even. I believe Grodd loses to Bane, Wonder Woman, Dr fate, Batman maybe a little bit to superman and Aquaman but not that much after Aquaman nerfs. I also think he probably beats Captain Cold because he doesn't allow CC to charge his gun because you can walk through the puddle with MB Stampede or you can leap over it so they always have to be looking out for this instead of charging the gun.

No wonder with these numbers people believe Grodd is low tier. He is not he is solid mid and has the tools to compete he just requires a little bit more of practice.

I also disagree with him beating Swamp thing. Thats a 5-5.

Very well. I understand your argument of me being a downplayer. Perhaps I’m awful then. /shrug

I think Aquaman is still relatively pretty much in AMs favor due to leaping is a guess, and his tentacles can track you pretty bad. It’s party time if Grodd can get Aqua in corner because he can blow up a lot of his wakeups, but besides that, Aqua seems to have a better neutral.

I don’t think Supergirl is even personally I just feel she controls a lot of the screen with her trait that builds up super quickly. Her D1 and B1 into breath and safe B123 is mad good against him. Maybe I jumped the gun with a 7-3. Probably a personal issue in relation to my character.

I put Atrocitus as 4-6 because Atrocitus just has better buttons all around too with conjuction with his trait. F2 and B2 just feels superior to any of Grodd’s spacing buttons. I’m not 100% sure if Grodd can blow up Atrocitus Wakeup provided he meterburns it, so yeah.

I hope the Grodd community puts more of their numbers. We can use my numbers as the downplay version

Definetly agree on most of them. If I would have to change some numbers you posted:
- I think GL wins with Wonder Woman 6-4. No idea about Swamp Thing and new DLC's like Manta and Raiden.
- I would make a claim that GL loses to Starfire 4-6. He might as well lose to Cyborg but I have too little experience in that MU to be really confident.
- Not so sure about Harley either. Harley has an edge due to her superior zoning and meterless damage but in overall I don't think it's that bad to call it losing matchup. But it might be close, though.

I think it's worth to add some top players opinion I heard during some streams. Both Theo and Gross agrees that GL vs Superman is 4-6. Also both Gross and F0xy claimed that GL vs Deadshot is 5-5.

How could I forget about WoWo and Starfire, lol.

I also think GL beats WoWo, but not terribly.

And Starfire beats GL imo as well. I played a set against sooneo playing Starfire and granted my MU experience is garbage and I'm not what I would call a high level player, the matchup seemed pretty damn tough. Maybe I was just lost, I dunno haha.

Little bit of mis-info here--FTD is only punishable by vines with a true reversal at close and mid range. Anything past that and vines will be duckable and you can punish with a FTD. I think this MU is even, but that's debateable. Also delayed wakeup vs Swamp Thing beats almost all of his meaty, armored, or tick throw gimmicks so Aqua definitely doesn't get "wrecked' on wakeup.
