Thunder tech I found

hi there, I havent been here in a long time since I was rather busy with studies and my interest in IGAU faded a bit. However now I'm back because I found some interesting stuff with Thunder. It could be common knowledge already since I just got my hands on the game yesterday because a friend lend his xbox to me, however I don't see any record of it either here or on srk.com so I thought I'd share :)

it really reminds me of Shazam 2,2 into herculean might where it doesnt matter if they block or get hit they will eat dmg anyway. but this is easier to escape

nothing new here bro. and on blocked crossup (or jump in mk) you can be poked unless the kick is really deep. ... and after a blocked crHP opponent can do a neutral jump and you're dead.
 
What loogie said, after the crouching heavy canceled into command grab it can be neutral jumped and you get blown up. You can however mix it up and cancel with the triplax instead to catch people trying to jump and combo them. Thunder has a few setups that are good and a few things that might help you. here are some tips and setups:

-samamish aka flying headbutt's recovery frames can be canceled into any special as long as you dont do the followup stomp. This is really good in footsie range, you whiff a few normals then do a light sammamish , if it whiffs and if you see the opponent trying to do something cancel the recovery frames into a special , and blow them up. You can also mess with them during hardknockdowns this way.

-On a level 4 command grab hard knockdown ender, theres a ton of things you can do and some matchup specific stuff too. You can do an ambiguous crossup with fierce punch, an immediate jump which will act as a safe jump vs sabrewulf(which you can option select by the way), a crossup empty jump into crouching light kick or a neutral jump if you think they might throw, or a command grab (beats throw attempts too). Since you arent attacking and are empty jumping they cant trip guard you (they could anti air you if they have good reactions).

-Standing light kick is god like. Plus frames which they must respect and can set up some nasty tick throws with your command grab
