REO probably isn't top 5, execution wise. Actually, nobody from the US is top 5 execution wise.

That's kind of a really obvious thing to say. I mean, I'm not being a dick but what does that have to do with anything? Nobody discredited REO. The post is about execution and the poster I responded to strictly mentioned execution. It's not like I think combos are what decide how good of a player you are. And obviously REO is far better than any of the execution gods mentioned above, but he's not on their level in terms of execution. He still has great execution and he's the best MK9 player to ever play, though I don't see how that's relevant.
there is a difference however between combo video execution and in game execution. REO does his BnB's in tournament, not saying Doc or tony t can't (tony t at Winterbrawl was sick) but in that case i think you can make a case for REO, Doc, McFly and tony t (haven't seen Check play a match only combo vids). in tournament i think Exblades has good execution too, and tyrant as well.
Yeah this is a good point actually. In fact TylerLantern, one of MK9's premier combo guys in the US is kind of a good example. He makes these godlike combo vidoes but one of his main problems, from what I've seen of him, is he drops a lot of standard BNB's in match. It could be just tournament nerves though, in fairness. It's not like I'm blowing him up or anything.
