Why would he be top 10? He is average in every aspect of the game (i.e., footsies, zoning, damage output, interactable object control, mobility, etc.). The anti-zoning is still very good. On the other hand, the trait is worthless. I had to listen to fools like MIT for many months post-patch rant about how much better the trait had become. Some fools also predicted the trait would in time "become as good as Zod's".

Even your God and idol Slips has called Deathstroke "the Sektor of Injustice".

Anything I said about downplaying characters and player skill, it's quite a bit. (AKA, this character is great, that's the reason they win, not because of their skill). The individual players know, but I said it mostly offline at tournaments.

Why the hell would I apologize for a statement that is absolutely right?

Sektor was just outside of top 10 in MK9. Possibly as low as 14th or 15th. He was a well balanced character with no flaws other than getting torched by Kabal, Cyrax and maybe Kenshi. Deathstroke is easily top 12. It's possible he's even top 10.

In fact, he's got even less bad matchups than Sektor.

I was actually sooo right about that statement I might've been wrong. Deathstroke is probably better off than Sektor.

While this is besides the point your making, I never felt like Cyrax was a lopsided matchup against Sektor. (For the record, I did put a lot of time into Sektor, just didn't post much in his forums)

With that said........................

Cyrax vs Sektor 4-6 Sektor shuts down cyrax abilities with instant TU and his footsie game is way better than cyrax at mid range, cyrax can do Nets on this matchups for sure and sektor low hitbox make the command grab whiff on duck block most of the time.

I don't claim to be a Sektor mu chart expert. I just no very few characters 7-3 him. Sektor does have a history of doing ok against Cyrax in tourney. Hell, @GGA pimpimjim had a history of beating Pig's Kenshi. Maybe the only 3-7 was Kabal? Either way, it just further proves my point about how right I was.

That vid is very misleading. Whenever you meterburn your wakeup moves in MK9, it adds an additional like, 20 frames or so of invincibility in an actual match. But in practice mode, it did not. It was a practice mode bug. So that vid is just straight up wrong lol.

How convenient that you decided not to look for that quote. What is it with the constant referring back to my old posts without also quoting the parts where I've changed what I've said? He will get worse as time goes on. Right now his dominance is mostly all gimmicks (even I still fall for them and am not used to shutting them down, yet) that are not truly effective against players who will have a ton of experience under their belt. I predict a year from now DoomsDay will become the Nightwolf of the game and move down to low-mid. He will be hot for the first few months, but he will steadily decline. I feel bad for all you DoomsDay players who aren't rioting for buffs to get them while you can. His splash is something he really needed. I don't care if it had a phantom hitbox on it, some other moves in the game have the same thing yet they're still in.
