Yea I swear I thought this was known. People criticized it in Inj2. Different FBs also have different "action points" since the animations are different, so you have to learn them for each FB to defend. I've added a good amount of points on FBs with this on well timed hits. It's something that I think should be left out of competitive play though.
You time the button mash when the hit connects with the opponent. Time it perfectly and you get a blown up skull or a huge shield.

Yeah I've known since May I believe? Makes FBs more fun instead of just sitting there waiting for the animation to end. Plus obviously the damage can become even more stupid on a few of them. Lol
