Yeh I think it was originally reo, king and slayer who were the best Kung JIns. King didn't think buzzsaw was good enough and did switch to kung lao after tempest got buffed because he prob likes kung lao better, it was his main in mk9. Reo just seems to pretty much play whatever character is hot and doesn't slayer still kinda play kung jin?

Alot of it has to do with the execution he takes and that he has trouble with female hitboxes.

When I voted, I had tournament representation in mind, so I went with Erron Black. I haven't seen anyone but Sonic Fox play him in ages. The other contenders were Jax (Tyrant and Jupiter) and Kung Jin (Slayer and Chris G). I'm a bit surprised that D'vorah is so high in the polls. Have people only noticed Honeybee? What about Blind Ducky, Krayzie, and PPJ? Actually, does PPJ still play D'vorah? I haven't seen him on stream at a major for a long time, so he may very well have switched.

Why not? If there are roughly 30 characters in the game (there are currently 29 in MKX), then the top 10 being labeled "top tier," the middle 10 being labeled "mid tier," and the bottom 10 (in the case of MKX, bottom 9) being labeled "bottom tier" all seems pretty logical to me

In injustice i believe there were 5 characters in the top tier (MMH ZOD AQUA FLASH BGIRL), whereas chars like sinestro(he might warrant the 6th) were a tier a below so does that make them top tier???

In MK9 i believed Kabal Kenshi Cyrax Sonya Lao and Freddie were 6 in their own tier at the top. So are chars like Kitana, Smoke, Cage(who loses to 5 of top 6), really top tier???

So far MKX doesn't have a kabal or martian yet, maybe their will be a larger oligarchy. I really think Tanya, Spec Ops, Dvorah, Tempest Lao, Jax, Shinnok (i mean hell sparks the character) and probably hish-qu, seem to have extremely well rounded and strong tool kits that are indicative of top tiers in these game. I really don't see what jax doesn't have.

Its hard to travel sometimes man. Money, lack of tournaments, etc. Just have to save up and go to what you can. Also Jax players do travel. I have meet a few of them. Sometimes they just do get there. Other times they do. Its how it works with any character/character community.

Does no one believe in Venomous D'Vorah due to Swarm Queen's success? I almost never see venomous online, or even D'Vorah for that matter. Such a slept on variation... it's a wake up armor killer with spray resets for days. Great for people who can't do bug cancels but like the character (me).

Venemous is mid tier at best. Absolutely no reason to use it over Swarm Queen. And thats with OS, without them it is probably low.

Jax , Mofo is a tank with the best pressure in the game. 6 frame normal, 7 frame poke, 8 frame poke thats 0 on block, AA jabs, anti air Mb special, 50% corner damage with insane corner carry and tons of half of hes strings are + on block lol. Hes not easy to use thats why people dont use him that much but on the contrary kung jin is easy to use and very strong yet they Kung jiners are declining after the nerf.

I almost see never fighting a Tanya, but there's really no chance you've never fought a Cassie unless you got the game last night and have only played 5 or 6 games online. She's a very popular character.

Had it since day one and haven't ever fought a Cassie or Tanya. I use Tanya myself even. I wish I was kidding
