The Top 10 Films of 2013 (and Biggest Disappointments)

missiles are coming
Being a self proclaimed film buff I usually try to put out my list to friends and family every year, even if no one cares lol. I used to run a monthly film club via facebook when I had more free time and movie blog and I drove my film professor nuts talking about Lars VonTrier haha. Now at least I can still watch the films. Living close to NYC is always a plus because we have access to independent film releases. It's just so expensive! Now there are a lot of movies I have yet to see this past year but out of the ones I have seen, here is my list.

1. Her
2. The Wolf of Wall Street
3. Gravity
4. 12 Years a Slave
5. Short Term 12
6. The Worlds End
7. Captain Phillips
8. Before Midnight
9. The Act of Killing
10. Stoker

Biggest disappointments in No order

Elysium
Man of Steel
Oldboy remake
Kick Ass 2
Star Trek 2
That's a good list dude. I've yet to see some though.

Mine so far...
1- Her
2- Only God Forgives
3- Europa Report
4- Gravity
5- Captain Phillips
I haven't seen anything else worthy of being on a list this year. Still want to see Wolf on Wallstreet.

Worst movie was by far the Oldboy remake. Spike Lee deserves jail time for that.
