Misanthropiate
I chose Ermac, Scorpion, Kitana, D'Vorah and Sub-Zero.

Ermac has been my favorite character for a long time, but I'm finding myself a little more interested in Sub-Zero's gameplay. That dark alt costume...

But for the ones on the list. I'm going with Kotal, Kano, Cassie, F/T and Ninjitsu Scorpion cause swords.

Personally I've never really cared for Scorpion. The same goes for JC, Kitana, Mileena, Quan and even Kano. I've never liked these characters before.

But for whatever reason I actually "like" these characters now. The way they all look in the game is just awesome! Johnny Cage is still like he was in MK9. But when he catches Scorpions spear and says "Man I'm good." and his Fatality... I don't even. That shit GOTS me hyped! Everyone is awesome so far!

Hell. When I play and finish the Story, I might end up really liking D'Vorah or Jacqui and maining these characters.... probably not but you get what I'm saying.

Kotal, D'Vorah, Kenshi, and maybe Rain/Fujin/Tremor if there're in. I may play Jax if he looks like MK9.

Fabled Villain
I'm currently debating between Kotal Kahn, Shinnok, Jason, and Goro, but as always, I'm going to need several weeks messing around with the cast in the lab, playing countless hours of arcade ladder, and mastering story mode on every difficulty before I can even begin to commit to a select few.

One of my biggest issues in fighters is that I tend to fall in love with too many characters. I get good to very good with several instead of great with 1 or 2. In MK9, I played six characters: Raiden, Sub Zero, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Noob, and eventually, Ermac. In Injustice, I narrowed it down to three: Bane, The Joker, and Killer Frost. In MKX, I am forcing myself to a MAX of two (One main and one secondary). But, to be honest, with the variation system, I may end up trying really hard to just stick to one. We'll see.

Also, it's funny that this poll currently only has one of the four characters I am most interested in. (i.e. We NEED more gameplay footage!!!!)

the CHILL of DESPAIR
Gonna give Sub-Zero a shot. If he is full of problems against the majority of the cast then I'll try Raiden as well. lol

Let Be Be Finale Of Seem
I picked Ermac and if Shinnok is playable, he might be a second

I dont understand Jason though. He doesn't strike me like a fighter. He's a slasher, I dont picture him running, jumping, stringing complex combos or having any dialogue. I don't understand why they would waste a guest spot with him.

Waiting for Havik
By far the most awesome char I've seen so far is Kung Lao, then SubZero, then Raiden and last Quan Chi. The rest look pretty great but I think the 4 mentioned before are just in another level. Maybe Cage with the stunt double variation.

Official Sonya simp
So many characters to pick from, all of them got me interested, except for Kotal. I'm gonna try to learn as many characters as possible. But my mains are certain:

Sonya
Reptile
Ermac

Lt. Boxy Angelman

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
It's hard to say.
I've picked my main for certain, but I also have my habit of stretching my focus and exploring anyone who seems fit to toy with, and my curiousity is leaning towards the newer members of the roster and the characters I haven't already been made familiar with from years of MK9 - even the lesser known already-established cats who haven't gotten that much limelight over the years ala Kenshi or Shinnok who are probably about to get the full-blown next-gen feeling brand new treatment...or Goro, who other than his appearance in MK Unchained has never been a non-boss-like/built-like-everyone-else member of an MK roster before.
There have been a few unique variations among the oldheads - like whichever style it is Scorpion has with the Tele-Kick projectile and the Grundy grab, Kitana's Mournful/Jade stance that I feel like they wouldn't have designed so specifically if it wasn't gonna be fucked up in its own way, Kano's Cybernetic stance with the Cyrax bombs and potential for new resets - but from a basic, across-the-scope-of-the-character's-history viewpoint, most of the returning characters seem built to do the same badass bone-breaking stuff they always do, just in a new arena with improved badassery.
So I've been paying a lot more attention as of late to all things new and all the brand-new characters/stuff I've never seen certain oldheads pull off before to see what draws my eye. I've never had a particular favorite style of fighting...in MK9 and Injustice, I played a bit of everything: a rushdowner (Cage/Doomsday), a space controller/reactionary punisher (Sub-Zero/Bane), a unique heavy hitter (Ermac and Reptile/Grundy), and my #1 super guy who could do a bit of everything (Cyrax/Deathstroke), so there's no style of battle I can't adapt to if need be. At this point, it's all about who can do what Stunt Double Cage did and drop my jaw on sight with the ridiculous shit they're capable of.

Might change later. Idk my actual main changes upon how I'm feeling that day. It's usually this.
Main: Sonya
Sub-Mains: Scorpion, Jacqui, D'Vorah
