The guys who worked at Rare 15 years ago probably left. All they have now are people willing to make casual games for the Kinect. I'm willing to bet that the reason we won't get another Killer Instinct isn't because Rare won't do it, but simply because they can't.

I've stated before Nintendo not only Rare owns rights to it. Unfortunately nintendo will never ever do a cross platform game, nor will the allow someone else to profit off it. Ken Lobb the producer of KI and is now employed by Microsoft doing kinect stuff. As much as we ask I am sorry it just won't happen. You will see Mario on Xbox before you see Fulgore

damn that sux. kinda shitty too, wouldn't u think nintendo would agree to microsoft buying the rights since they're not doing anything with it? I mean seriously if they do some kind of KI for the Wii I would officially have given up on nintendo ever making a comeback.

Let's face it, those KI's werent the best fighting games ever made lol. But at this point, just about anything KI would suffice.

WTH, any game developer can make a top notch game regardless if you've worked on past games.

It's about talent, skill and the freedom from the Publisher to give the Dev team to make the game. A good code is a good code. Doesn't matter who programs it.

God of War games all had different directors/teams and all the games are fucking great.
