Damn I just got like 200 rating points on tbe ladder with my aerodactyl team. I have yet to lose with that team since I made it 4 months ago. I don't know why I don't use it more.

The shiny lock still has me livid so I decided to restart my old Emerald for the Weather Trio. Still haven't gotten my shiny Latios in OR and I need go through AS to get up to Latias. Oy...

Just kinda want to start up some discussion in here. Who are yer guys favorite starters from each gen? :) Here's my list:

Gen I: Venusaur
Gen II: Typhlosion
Gen III: Sceptile
Gen IV: Empoleon (Mega this thing already PLEASE! I love it!)
Gen V: Serperior
Gen VI: Greninja

Btw, I think mega beedrill might be my favorite oras mega, but idk but altaria is hella strunk. It seems to be a starting trend where there are 2 megas that I can't decide between whether I like more or not. (XY was T-tar and Venusaur)

Only 2 of the generations did I not like the grass starter. Gen II was because Meganium was absolute ass. The other was because Swampert was fucking amazing.

Mega Beedrill looks amazing. It's only issue is that you HAVE to get it in relatively untouched. Aggron's my favorite Mega. Get it in, and it just tanks EVERYTHING. O_O

I didn't realize until thinking of that list how much I favor grass starters lol. It's a great typing. :) Aggron is awesome! He was the first mega I ever used. I love the way he plays.

Gen I: Charizard
Gen II: Typhlosion (MEGA THIS!!!)
Gen III: Blaziken
Gen IV: Empoleon
Gen V: Emboar
Gen VI: Greninja

Seems like i'm on the fire train...except for Gen 4 & 6. Infernape was too similar to Blaziken and Delphox is too cute and cuddly for my tastes, so Greninja is my pick.

I used to be Fire exclusive but I legit HATED that Fire Monkey thing (it doesn't even deserve to be named) and then relaxed on that, my revised list of fave starters goes like this:

Gen I: Charizard
Gen II: Typhlosion (the Johto starters were the best IMHO, they better give them Megas in the sequel like the Kanto starters got in XY)
Gen III: Swampert (the hulking muscular Mega form made me fall in love with it <3 but it and Blaziken suffered from getting really ugly as they evolve)
Gen IV: Torterra (I worked with it by complete accident considering I skipped DPPt)
Gen V: Emboar (A FIRE PIG! HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE IT? Sidenote: Gen V is the best Gen since Gen II)
Gen VI: Gren...ermm... TBH I like Chestnaught more for some reason (but Greninja is cool too as is Delphox but that ear hair...)

What? Infernape kicks ass too! I honestly hate Emboar waaaay more than the the other fire-fighting starters, but none of them were really my favorites either lol. I think I was just over fire fighting types though tbh.

Gen 1: Venusaur
Gen 2: Meganium
Gen 3: they're all kinda lame in my opinion
Gen 4: Empoleon (never played Gen 4 but Penguins are fucking cool and water/steel is a swag typing)
Gen 5: Serperior (never played Gen 5 either so this is strictly off of design as well)
Gen 6: I think all of these are kinda lame as well, but I'm going to go with Delphox because Magician/Switcheroo trolling is fun

And even though I've said this enough, Banette is hands down my favorite mega and the most underrated in my opinion as well

Ugh! I still dislike Infernape, it's design, it's type, UGH! They couldn't have been more original?

Meanwhile, Emboar is so freaking bad ass that most people can't handle it. ;P

Gen VI: uhhh Delphox I guess if I had to choose, Froakie ev line makes no sense to me, rookie -> brigadier ->...ninja???


I really like Mega-Aggron, I'm hoping Dusknoir gets a mega.
