D.C. And marvel have done plenty of crossovers via comics. But if it happens he'll be a Sony exclusive since they own the rights to him. I'd rather see someone like Gambit because I play on x box lol. But I'd rather see carnage or venom over Spider-Man but again they'd be a PS4 exclusive

Yeah Tom holands Spider-Man wouldn't be a thing if Sony didn't fuck the franchise over to the point of asking Disney / Marvel for help. Sony bought the rights to spider man to keep marvel up when they filed for bankruptcy

Those were years ago though. Marvel wouldn't touch DC with a 10 foot pole nowadays.

Doubt that. They have done cross overs it's various other companies and honestly for certain characters of the marvel universe they don't need Marvel's permission. All you need is Fox or Sony to side with you.

I remember there was a long thread about this before the game came out and there was this dude typing paragraphs about how it was possible. Lol

He's actually a secret playable character. Here's how you unlock him:
  1. Uninstall Injustice 2
  2. Remove the disc from your ps4
  3. Take the disc to Gamestop
  4. Speak the secret code ("I'd like to trade in my game and pre-order Marvel vs Capcom Infinite")
  5. Follow the Gamestop employee's instructions
  6. Go home and wait until September 19th
  7. Go back to Gamestop and they'll give you a new disc
  8. Go home, put in the new disc, wait until the install is over, and bam! Now you can play as Spider-man!

idk, maybe this would be the craziest thing to ever happen, but not by a whole lot. that line seems to get pushed further and further with each year that goes by. freddy vs. jason, alien vs predator, the Marvel cinematic universe, freddy in mk9, batman vs superman, spiderman joining the MCU, etc. i know those deals were probably childs play compared to spiderman appearing in a DC property, but i dont think its inconceivable. if there is enough money to be made, it can happen. hell, donald trump is the fucking president of the united states of america. if, after knowing this, you still dont think its possible for spiderman to be a guest character on injustice 2, your just being myopic. having said that, i dont think enough money can be made to satisfy any of the players in this deal--whether it be DC, Marvel, Sony, WB, Death Row Records, or Vandelay Industries--to make this a reality
