I SEE EVERYTHING!
So for all those coming to the tournament Saturday, who's going to be coming down Friday night besides Nordic? I'm going to be having a session at my place from 7 PM until whenever and would love if you could come by for games. If you will be here Friday night, let me know so I can give you specifics.

I'll be recording vids and posting them on YouTube.

For those who came down for the tourney, thanks for coming. I enjoyed having you guys over to game and what not. Despite the obvious issues, I still had fun and hope you guys did as well.

If nothing comes into my schedule, I will be up there for the next tourney on October 22.

so what is the next tourny and what was the turnout for the one on saturday???

My only complaint is the venue... it was way to cramped and the owners seemed annoyed with how many people showed. What the fuck did they expect? Outside of that I had a blast though, the event itself was a good time. =)

MK had a turnout of 10 I believe, I think the top 4 was:
1 - Ryry
2 - Blackula
3 - Vegeta
4 - N0rdicNinja

As for the event on the 22nd definitely come! It's being called "Test Your Rage" and will be held at GMU again, the same room as far as I know, and it's being co-hosted by VA Tekken Rage and a newly formed MK group called Mid-Atlantic Kombat. As of right now I believe the only two games being played are MK and Tekken, so this should be a big event for the MK scene right in our own back yard!

Actually at the Meet and Greet we did a "for fun" tourney (no winnings on the line) and I place 4th then too.... XD 4th place King indeed. =P

And I look forward to seeing how you do on the 22nd creepy, you impressed everyone at the Meet and Greet!

You guys should have seen the top 4 for the T12 tourney in Canada. Arturo was salty!!! Earlier, he had got sent to losers by a Scorpion player who had double flawlessed him. He met the same Scorpion in Grand finals, played on The Pit, won 3-0, 3-0, and did the stage fatality every match. 6 straight pit fatalities = SALTALITY!!! Arturo got his revenge.

i am going to say that being double flawlessed by a scorpion player is instant tourny winner in my books lol

flippin flav and I will most likely be at this tourny on the 22nd. I am bringing my A game, I have mastered a new character and have decided to drop ermac after so long playing with him:(

Yeah I liked the tourny but the venue was so so. I really hated that lady.... Post patch I'll finally be deciding on a backup character and sticking with it. As for that scorpion incident....yeah I'm sorry no amount of pit fatality will make up a DOUBLE flawless....LOL

since I am transitioning over to a pad, I can't play ermac like i use to be able to. Most people know that i was a beast with ermac. Recently i have switch to a more aggressive play style. I will bring it on the 22nd and see how It goes. I got to play a little with my new play style against Eazial, Nordicninja and of coarse I am always playing against FlippinFlav.

Yeah JUST saw that, been traveling so out of the loop, I can make that. I've got a few monitors if people want to test them. 25inch LCD fast displays. I bought them for some surround/eyefinity PC games a while back, fast shooters. They don't clean color or look that great but no lag. Played SF4 on them as well and no issues.

Image isn't all that great due to a lack of post processing, but oh well. I don't watch movies on them ;P

The plasma doesn't lag either, but that's way too much of a pain to haul around.
