Good to hear man! Remember we will have serenity games every Tuesday and Sunday. Also I'm bringing an mk setup this Tuesday.

He's only just started playing the game but he comes from already being a reputable Guilty Gear, Tekken, and Blazblue player. He's using Jade and Shang Tsung mainly right now. He practically just picked up the game and he's been making waves in casuals (He stands on even footing with me and a few others who have been playing the game a lot longer, his Jade is pretty scary.). I'll probably ask him to make an account here and drop a line. I don't really want to throw his name around without his permisson, but I'll encourage him to touch base since there seem to be some Tampa players he can hook up with.

I live in Tally, and there are a handful of other players around here as well. We would have more but one of them is moving to Tampa and the other Miami I think. I'll shoot you a pm.

Shout outs to I$aac for totally wrecking me with every character he touched tonight. I get online and win a couple and think I'm the shit, then when I play someone who's actually really good, it puts me back in my place. I hope I can get more matches in with everyone here cuz I...re-learned how bad I really am hahah. I need practice

Well I just found out yesterday that I landed that job I was after. It looks like I will definitely be coming to Titans. Got a real nice pay increase with a ton of opportunities. Get ready FL, Jax is coming to Tampa to wreck house!!!!!!!!:darthvader:

Yeah I$aac, I try not to let it get to me too much since i dont play the game as often as I should, but I do wanna get better. Hopefully FL can get together more often so we can get even stronger. As for me, i'm going to try and make it out to the Serenity Games as much as I can, but with an hour drive or so, it can be a little rough so we'll see. But good games, it was fun none the less =D

Just a heads up to anyone trying to reach me on Xbox Live - I'm running into a lot of issues with my internet lately due to some of these storms so if you don't hear from me quickly I'm not ignoring you, its just that things are dicey with comcast's "fabulous" internet service.

I'm in Spring Hill, about 45-60 minutes outside Tampa. I'd love to make it out to one of these casual gatherings though it's somewhat a trek and I'm only off weekends. I MIGHT be able to swing a Sunday get-together. My roomie might want to come out and see what high-level play looks like. I know I'd love to see some high-level in the person.

Anyone in the Miami area? Looking for some tournaments to play in around here or just to play with others from around here. I just registered on the forum and saw this thread. Hopefully looking forward playing with some Miami natives :)

We've been trying to get together on Tuesdays and Sundays, but its actually in St. Pete, which for you would be another 30 minutes or more from tampa. I'm going to try and make it out there as often as i can, but unfortunately i just got laid off so I wont be going out too too much. If I find out that anythings going on closer to you, or even just a small get together in Tampa, i'll definitely let you know

I know that theres a pretty big scene in the miami area and that they get together every week..but I cant remember where. I think they said downtown somewhere..when I find out i'll let you know hahah

Yeah man definitely let me know when you find out.

I'm a pretty good player just looking for others to play with around here and hopefully compete in tournaments.
