Lol Kano does not go even with Shang at all. Shang destroys Kano from everywhere on the screen up close or far away. That mu is 6-4 in shang's favor if anything.

Shang isnt that bad actually, although I would say 4-6 too.

Knives all day, lbsh if you don't know how to escape cage pressure you're doing it wrong, 11 strings can be upball'd, b1 is an advancing poke with amazing recovery, and kano's rushdown is only slightly lesser than cages while also having a 50/50 (realistically 60/40 considering b2 is 8000 frames) but the fact of the matter is it still exists, slow or not. Also, a note to all kano players. You don't b11. Ever. You b1 hit confirm into 12, and that takes care of ex nut punch or any form of b11-interrupt.

I'm pretty over hearing Kano gets destroyed by "insert character here".
Kano goes 5/5 with more than 75% of the cast. Kenshi is the only matchup where he gets 100% shut down. Kano is the worst character in the game solely because his winning matchups (6/4 or better) are few and far between. His losing matchups, most often, are no worse than 6/4 - 7/3 and if you consider that being "destroyed" then you probably shouldn't be playing mk. 7/3 is totally and completely winnable at any level.

I personally think its terrible for Kano. Stryker can zone, Kano cannot. Roll goes under knives, gun beats hz ball& downball. Kano def has the upperhand once he's in. But getting in is a bitch. I say 6/4 more likely 7/3. That being said...... Other kano & stryker players disagree and say 5/5. I won't argue that and will just assume i lose due to lack of m/u knowledge.

The same reason most people don't give much of a fuck if they go 5-5 or 8-2 against Kano. When you get wrecked by Jade because you don't know the matchup, you'll reconsider that mentality.

Remember how players used to swear Sheeva wasn't the worst in the game because of all the tools they didn't know about? We all know what happens when someone actually knows the matchup.

Get out of here. Kano is probably the most lag friendly character in the game. Knives are annoyingly hard to react too and good luck punishing upball or even armoring through any of his strings in general
