why not man? from my understanding hog is pretty dead as far as mk. correct me if im wrong, but anyways we are trying to revive MK in dallas and you, being the high level player you are and with the rep you have, would help jumpstart the process by attending. And I know you want the MK community to grow, right?

This thread is awesome... I'm glad that there are other people taking up the mantle of MK in Dallas since it did die off here at the House after Evo...

That being said, I think it's good to remind everyone that there is a rather large and active fighting game community in DFW, and it would be awesome to get this group of MK players on the DFW map so that everyone is aware of who you guys are and where you play and vice versa.

And the same goes the other way, I'm sure as you guys progress in your MK journey you might want to compete in some of the other competitive fighting games. SF/Marvel is always big obviously, and SC V is on the horizon and that we will be making a huge effort in that game as well. In general, the House has been the place in DFW to get the best competition in the city for a wide variety games for the last 7+ years. MK is no exception as Tom Brady and JOP (3rd place at Evo) live here.

We travel to and train for the same events that you do, so let's support each other and support the community at large.

If you guys ever want to stop by and check it out. Come on by. M/W/F are the days we have games, but friday is the biggest an best night to come out because that when all the players come out, when we stay up the latest, when we have tournaments, etc. etc.

If you could add the House of Goons (and the players that play here) to the list, along with the times that we play that would be awesome. Although Soul Calibur V will be our main game at the House for Evo, Brady is making a push for Evo so he will be here training and we will be supporting him in that endeavor.

I'm also going to throw it out there that we should make an effort to regularly go to HOG as well. Its up to us as players to keep it from dying off. Since it's shaping up that sunday will most likely be our day In the 817, we should start rollin to HOG on fridays. The cross promotion would be great all around. The more heads we have on this scene the better, especially when it comes to the area's future streaming/local tourney endeavors. I mean, I'm down to get wrecked twice a week to train up for texas showdown.
