Happened to me as well. I deleted the game and am currently re-installing it...
All recommended suggestions did not work.

It's funny because I struggled with that for twenty hours yesterday and I re installed three times and changed out my hard drive. I replied to a post earlier here about how to fi x it and reported to the mods to make it front page on how to fix it, but to no avail. Apparently it is some sort of licensing issue. All you need to do is before you go into the app, go to settings, network and sign out of online, then go into the app and get to the menu screen and sign back in. That should work for now. Maybe this can get front paged now since so many people are having trouble with error code ce-34878-0. If you don't believe me then google MKX error code. Thanks for your time. Over!

Don't make up bullshit I never said. a "few hours" over a week still doesn't sound like much considering how long people will spend on this game. all I'm saying is it seems like you're overreacting. calm down, and come up with a backup plan just like you would for data on your computer. if you're playing online the Ps should be doing this to psn for you unless you disabled it.

^ this worked, but you have to reset the Network to OFF every time you start up the game or else I get the same error code.

Also, when I first turned the Network OFF and went in to the game, it had character boxes for Jason, Tanya, Tremor and Predator. All were darkened except Jason... of course he's not playable though. It said "X" to purchase, yadda, yadda.

But when I went back in, the select screen was back to normal...wtf?

Anyone else on the same page? Also, do you have to reset your Network settings every time you go into the game?

Also, I cannot access Story Mode anymore...

I was just being sarcastic because I thought you were too. I didn't say I 100%'ed the game or whatever but I played quite alot these days in my free time and now those hours were for nothing of course I'm upset?! It's like saying oh you lost a foot? calm down, be glad it's not the whole leg.
And no psn didn't back anything up for me but I also never disabled or anabled anything for that matter I just knew it existed but never needed to make use of it.

Sucks to hear that. After yesterday's bigger patch and today's smaller one mine has started to work properly. No frame drops, even in sky temple. Also unlike some hours ago my game doesn't crash in controller settings anymore either. Just stick it out and be patient. The hiccups will get fixed eventually.

My game does not register war points.

After online sessions i get the message that the game is unable to retrieve faction data and that faction stuff is turned off

Don't know if this is a bug or not. When I do Jacqui's 1212, I sometimes end up doing an interactable instead. Is there a way to fix this? I think the game thinks I'm pressing 1+2 together. Is there a controller option somewhere?

Turn off input shortcuts in the controller presets.

The thing is before the 15GB patch I didn't have any problems. So the patch actually broke the game for me. :/

idk what happened exactly but i was playing this ferra/torr player earlier and i got him in the corner with subzero and somehow he literally walked through my snow man twice. don't know what caused it.

This may be specific to ps4, but after downloading the patch today, the game will not launch unless I'm offline and I wait for the title screen to appear. After the game has fully loaded in an offline state, I can plug in my Ethernet cable and the game plays normally.

I had to sign into my WB play account 3 times for it to link; I kept getting an "account in use" message.

Also, I downloaded the Samurai skin pack and as soon as it finished, the game crashed again.

Has anybody else had this happen?

I know that feel bro. I'm dealing with it too. Bought blue steel SZ and then it did it. Constantly crashes at the copyright page. Deleted via reinitializing the ps4 (per support page direction) -_-, re-downloaded, reinstalled, same thing. Now the ps4 is also acting like it's not gonna give me back goro because he was preorder exclusive. If that's the case Sony owes me the 5er to buy him with. Reinstalled my licenses and everything. Even went to the desktop site to push the download from there. Never got a notification on the ps4, but it's not like I can get on and check anyway.

Hmmm....I wonder if Boon himself has responded to this specific PS4 Error Code problem. Just curious.

Try disconnecting your console from the Internet, launch the game and wait until you see the title screen, then reconnect your console. I had the same problem as you're having and that worked for me.

Issue: For whatever reason, the game no longer starts. The initial MKX screen pops up, followed by the screen with all of the copyright/trademark stuff. It just stays at the trademark screen and won't continue. I tried quitting the program, reseting the Xbox, and uninstalling then re-installing it. Nothin seems to work and at this point I'm at a complete loss.
Has anyone else had this issue/resolved it?

Edit: If it makes any difference, I was playing fine for a while after the patch came out

Yeah man I don't know wtf is going on. They really shit the bed on this. I'm just waiting for some official word or another patch.

I've been trying to figure out if there's something wrong on my end that I can fix. Maybe our systems have something in common. Do you have an AMD graphics card?
