I always play females in fighting games for a number of reasons. Two people beating the shit out of each other is generally considered to be a "manly" thing. So to me, there's something fun/ironic/interesting about playing a female and doing the same thing. Another reason is that females in fighting games, for the most part, tend to have more interesting design than males. The basic, boring, ninja/karate guy/main-character types are always male. And on top of all that, since I only play females, it makes it easier to narrow down which characters I want to play.How come some of you guys like playing female characters so much?

There seems to be a lot of "Taunt" moves in this game that give status effects. Kano, Ferra/Torr, and everything with Kotal Kahn. I like this, they all seem quick enough to actually be performed in a match as well, maybe even in combos and neutral.Kano Variation Picture
they better be pretty significant buffs is they expect people to trade away moves in other variations for them. - Cassie Vs. Cassie intro: 'Ha, funny.' - 'What's funny is your face' - 'You just insulted yourself.'
- Scorpion is the most damaging character overall in the current build. Likely to change with later builds and patch updates.
- Some characters have button input taunts specific to certain variations. Cassie will perform a salute.
- Kano has 'Air Ball, Kano Ball, Up Ball and Knife Throw as his universal moves across all of his variations.
- Yellowish-green Player 2 colouring for Cassie.
- Increased frame data info in moves-list: Start up, active, recover, block advantage, hit advantage, cancel, etc.
- Kotal Kahn has some of the most damaging command input combos across all present characters.
