I'm getting a bit tired of a fair few players all saying "I need to be on the mic, I should be on the mic for Top 8 etc." and then act like assholes.

It's getting old fast. More than a few times this weekend I was watching and a match is going on while certain commentators are just going on and fucking on about themselves, even during the hype matches!

Nah man. Like the "story" and all is hype, and the rivalries are cool, but when you have two good players on stream in a match and the commentator is whining "oh well x said this about me but I'm awesome so...." that kills the hype.

Yeah, I remember someone having to constantly remind Flip Kev and whoever to commentate. *Offscreen voice* "Guys? GUYS!! There is a match. Commentate please."

@Tom Brady for what it's worth as a spectator the only thing that I didn't like was the timing. Sonic Fox had just won the second NRS game at a major and you didn't even mention that. It was his moment and as a commentator you should have been talking about his victory, not your rivalry with another player not even at the tournament.

Yeah, I get it, you are generally annoyed by my love of tasteful actions and country club behavior. Look, I love hype and shit, I've been to several offline events, it's just I am such a closeted business man when I'm watching the stream at home. Is it so much to WANT or EXPECT the commentators to, oh I don't know, commentate the match in front of them instead of talking about moronic bs?

Yeah, I remember it specifically happening twice (maybe three times) and I believe the voice may have been @Emperor DMS that had to chime in off camera. If it was in fact him, I commend him and respect that. Keeping people in line is one of my favorite attributes from TO's/commentators/organizers etc., etc.,

Exactly. I'm 33 years old man and I would no way in any sense, want to take part of or support something as ridiculous as what's in that video. That's not hype, that's what makes the FGC a joke to sponsors / casual viewers / MLG / and anyone who would have the fiscal means to want to try and legitimize FGC events as a sport.
