GS edition gives you the Kold war Scorpion skin and "exclusive key art" whatever that is.Can anyone tell me what the difference between the premium/special edition at GameStop and PSN are?
pourInflation bruh
This ^I can't speak to AU pricing, but the DLC is totally in line with previous NRS games in the US.
Previous season passes were $15 for four characters. Sold separately they were $5 a piece. Purchasing the season pass basically got you a character for free.
For Injustice they also sold skin packs for $3. In the MKX season pass we are getting four characters and five skin packs for $30. If all that was purchased separately (assuming skins and characters cost the same as IGAU) it would be $35. So, once again the season pass saves you $5.
Seems perfectly reasonable to me. If you are like @Braindead and don't care for half of what the season pass offers... Wait until it goes on sale or Just don't buy it? Just get the DLC you want and save some money.
Not sure if serious, or being sarcastic (or both)...So if they would change the price to 45$ for the Kombat Pack would that still be reasonable... it's only 15$ more, right? Who worries about 15$.
I'm serious lol.Not sure if serious, or being sarcastic (or both)...
Characters = $5
Skin Packs = $3
The Kombat Pack = $30
The Kombat Pack includes 4 characters and 5 skin packs = $35
Total savings = $5
Seriously, it's the same as in Injustice, the only difference is that the skins are included in the bundle as well, which increases the price. But if you took Injustice's $15 season pass, and added 5 skins packs, it would be $30.
To make things more basic: Injustice allowed you to pick and choose what you wanted more. Mortal Kombat X allows you to buy in bulk more. But both are priced the same, and even have the same "discount".
If the prices of the characters went up more, yes, that would be an issue. But they aren't, so... that's kinda irrelevant. I get what you are trying to say is basically "The price DID go up. Why are people okay with it? If the prices went up more, would it still be okay?" But like I already pointed out, the prices aren't even going up:I'm serious lol.
Ok, so if they change the price per character to 7,50 $ would that still be reasonable? It's only 2,50$ more.
I would still get it because I am a die hard MK fan. But with the 4 DLC and Skin pack, I would agree that it's kinda high. $30 is a good price and reasonable. So if they would change the price to 45$ for the Kombat Pack would that still be reasonable... it's only 15$ more, right? Who worries about 15$.
They can charge as much as they like, its their content. Just like you could find a job that pays more assuming your skills are in demand. Childish is crying about a perfectly reasonable economic system because you find the price too high for something you want.Your post reeks of irony. You sound like a foolish child to accept this atrocious price for the 'complete' game that they already had before release. NRS and Ed Boon are crooks.
If you're hard up for $30 maybe you should focus more on working your way up in your career so its not such an issue instead of worrying about a silly thing like competitive gaming. The only issue is that if you wish to play competitively, you basically have to learn much of each character. Without having them to mess around with in practice, it's harder. I mean, I plan to spend the reasonably priced (in my opinion) $30 for the Kombat Pack but I do understand the struggle of other people. There's bills and shit lol
Lol thanks.GS edition gives you the Kold war Scorpion skin and "exclusive key art" whatever that is.
Enough with this BS. If you can't afford $30 for dlc get your head out of your ass and reevaluate your priorities, which should NOT include MKX at all.Fuck outta here with the Classism
Due to inflation prices have gone down. 60 in 93 would be 97.46 in todays dollars.how about you just not buy the DLC. the DLC is just extra stuff they are putting out after the game is out.
some one posted something about games costing too much now, when i was 14 in 1993 new games cost $60. they cost $60 now.prices arent going up.
That's actually the problem here. People who want characters are literally forced to get those skins. Or just pay more for the character, if that's how you see it.The problem now though, I think, is that the skin packs are part of the DLC characters (seeing as they're the same theme). So I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC costs 10 dollars/euros each. That should get people to pay for skin packs even though they only care for the character.
Nobody is force to do anything. If you want them that bad you would pay and get them. If you don't want to pay for it you don't have to. You could wait till the Komplete edition comes out then. That's actually the problem here. People who want characters are literally forced to get those skins. Or just pay more for the character, if that's how you see it.
DLCs will probably be $10. No way it'll be cheaper to get 4 characters separately than by getting KP.
