The Black Dragon arena - even more story and character hints?

Okay, this is not about Kano in the background.

I've been scrutinizing the Black Dragon Fight Club arena like crazy. In one of the hi-res screenshots, you can actually read some of the texts on the cardboard boxes. All of them are in Russian. It is a possible clue that after the events in MKX, Kano took refuge in Russia. Is he recruiting new Black Dragon members there?

Take it easy, guys. My Russian is good, but not perfect. I'm almost certain it says something about ФУДЖИН/Fujin, but the other part is really hard to read.

If it does say something bad about Fujin, it represents the attitude of the Black Dragon towards our favorite wind god. The Black Dragon's opinion is not equal to NRS' opinion. Probably it's story related stuff.

A hypothetical example: Fujin forces Kano and his thugs to flee in Russia, their activities are limited, they are required to live underground and have every reason to hate the wind god. Some of the more vengeful black dragons relieve their stress, writing curses on the useless cardboard boxes.

See, this scenario has nothing to do with NRS and their opinion on Fujin. Actually, it could be a hint that Fujin is back and... playable?

So, please, don't jump to conclusions.

Interestingly enough, "коробки" (crate/box) is written with a machine font, but "хак" (hit/break) appears to be handwritten next to an arrow (or something similar, pointing to the other word).

I thought the chainsaw was the only interactable on the Black Dragon arena...

Edit: ХАК is also a slang for STEAL, so STEAL THIS BOX makes more sense IMO.

Well, with the "Has anyone unlocked Fujin yet?" easter egg that was in MKX, and now the whole "Fuck Fujin" thing, I guess it's safe to say that NRS really doesn't care for Fujin... Not getting my hopes up anymore.

Just found another hint that the Black Dragon stage is located in Russia and probably it has something to do with the story:

It's straight from Derek Kirtzic. He says that Kano (in the background) is drinking VODKA. The vodka reference and all these Russian texts tie together nicely.

And btw, bravo Thracian_Priest. It's people who dig like you that make NRS games more fun. I just wish I could find something about that extra mode now they've been teasing now.

Also, I think this is more of a nod to Fujin being included in the game because of the story element to it. This could honestly be a monumental find that this point of the game's development as far as character hints/confirmations go.
