I understand your frustration but right now you can just mash regular tele and get out of a lot of pressure for free. Maybe instead of reducing the startup they could just reduce the invincibility frames?
That's actually incorrect.

What I CAN do is runaway and or travel the screen with ease. However, teleport pressure and being able to "safely" escape my opponents pressure, not so much. A lot of my training partners have already started stuffing my teleport eacape attempts or just flat out knocking me out of it or punishing my follow up/descent.

Regular teleport is not what people should be worried about.

Also, what if they added frames to the teleport and it affects her combos in DN? Besides some ranged pokes and pogo shenanigans, her meterless damage is the saving grace in DN.

Let's be real, Tanya is no Raiden.

However, the fact that Raiden's teleport costs a bar of stamina is garbage.

Fair enough, I thought you were going the opposite way with it, and saying SZ is Raiden tier.

I didn't get why Raiden was OP because if only played against bad ones. Once I started playing against good ones, he's literally my hardest match up across all characters. Raiden is insane.
the problems I hear over and over are because of those damn option selects If they were gone (they must be patchable I refuse to believe they aren't) he would be 4th-6th IMO and doesn't need further nerfs other than meter build off lightning strings.

That's just how NRS/Paulo decided to design her.

It's not incorrect, you can literally mash teleport and it will get you out of pressure. Try going into training and doing 21122 command grab shenanigans with Erron Black, it takes some practice but you can tele out no matter where he cancels the string. Same goes for stuff like Jax's heavy weapons pressure, Dvorahs swarm queen pressure(not f112 WGC obviously).
They can't stuff it because when you do it it will make a move whiff therefore making it impossible to punish the tele. Only character I know it doesnt work on currently for some reason is Cage Fisticuffs, but it is very very good at getting out of pressure.

I'll admit I didn't think of DN when agreeing with the nerfs. I agree those startups should maybe be left alone, but I think something's gotta give. Reducing invincibility would only mean you can't mash the tele during blockstring pressure, you could still get out of pressure on a good read.

Well, Raidens problem isn't that displacer is crap, it's that TG outclasses it completely... But at the end of the day, Tanya is a character whose gameplay revolves around her Teleport, Raiden around his lightning strings, their variations should add different tools to complement their gameplay focus, it's ok that he doesn't have Tanya's teleport on top of all this IMO.

I think even without options selects he is top 3 quite easily. In my opinon. He's really damn strong

When articulated in this manner, I suppose I can accept changes to the teleport.

You gonna do the same for 112 and 24 her 8 and 10 frame punishes that in the corner can be linked with tele d2? Or should we take these combos away from her?

Im not saying its OP, but it is really good. Like I said before, when done right it cant get shut down lol. I guess they could just stop canceling strings into stuff but then you can just cancel it once you see that and stay safe.

I dont play Swarm Queen no. I also do think they should tone down f112 WGC and have always had that stance lol.

I have a problem when I can mash a move and stop pressure in the game. If its on a read i'd be cool with it but a lot of times it is not. Maybe there is a better way to do that then reducing the invincibility, idk. I just think it's dumb and feel bad when I do it.

Not to mention she has a block infinite on some of the cast with b312 b312. Thats pretty dumb too.

Oh for sure we are right. It's one of the most absurd things in the game. More stupid than anything in Tanya's entire arsenal lol. It needs adjusting as soon as possible.

Nah, I don't feel you can use DN in every MU. I just switch between both DN and Kobu.... and Pyro every now and then.

I was just curious because I'm making a B2/Swing Kick spacing guide (including all the armored wake ups that SK can stuff) and didnt know if I should tag you. ;)

Very few people use Pyromancer, which may actually be Tanya's best variation, so people are not aware of Dark Shroud's effectiveness.
