They're very safe due to the pushback, basically uninterruptible, and give you about 10% on the correct read. If you're not going for a throw but want to close out the round they are very useful imo. I'm sure Blind_Man could back me up on that one.
Outside of that though, I haven't found much use for them

it depends on the lead, youre never gonna slide if you have no breaker and it comes down to low hp unless you make a godlike read.

ill look into it soon though

Use 13b4 instead of 13~slide

was actually pointing out how predictable that is, see?

theres the completely safe option and the one with crazy ass risk depending on the situation, the logical choice would be only one unless under rare circumstances

I dont know what you mean exactly. How is 13b4 predictable when it's a 50/50 with 13f4? I dont see any advantage in throwing out 13~slide.

I don't get it. If u want to do a mix-up to end the round why not go for the throw/2,1 mix-up or 2,1,4 / 2,1, throw mix-up? Aren't those safer?

B/c no one ever expects anyone to use those strings and many aren't sure where they hit. I use 13F4 and 13B4 and 13 clone all the time. As well as in the corner for the hard splat into B2 shenanigans.

problem is that they start as true highs when you use the 13 variation

if you just did 3f4 or 3~slide.... you'd at least always hit and never be duck-able.
Just something to keep in mind.

the best B2 shenanigans are after b1,2 btw. I'll let you guys figure out why.

because b12 offers more adv on hit than b121.

My last video was me trying to get the most damage out of 2 bars (without being a crazy Check combo). This one uses xray. (It's interesting that f4~slide does 2% more damage than b12~slide.) Again, if anyone can do more, feel free to post it:

How to use this combo exactly? How much dashes should I do after ex freeze? Is it worth it? I have never seen anybody do it, except a few combo compilations. But it seems a good damage.

not worth it, you can get the same or close to the same damage meterless

no. its a gimmick and no player worth their salt will fall for it. if your timing is too early, they will shatter and fall and you wasted your bar for nothing. If you delay it and they tech roll they will get caught in it. if you delay and they fall, they have a wakeup window where you will get blown up. B121 standing reset is his go-to midscreen, otherwise, if you're going to do a 212 freeze, whiff the b1, do a 2 and 22 slide them to corner carry.

If you're feeling really brave or you need to make something happen and fast, you can trying doing what I did at the 3:22 mark below:


Obviously, pretty much anyone can do a wakeup attack to get out of this (Smoke could have easily teleport punched here, for example). But if you think that your opponent is sleeping or is on autopilot, you might try giving this a whirl. I would not attempt it more than once in a set, though.

I sorry, I meant to clarify that this will catch people, but dont throw it out all the time. Also, SER did it a bit differently than the more popular one used. Swaaag Style points there my friend

I see. I might avoid using it against great players. I faced |3rainst0rm and he was lethal. I'm looking to see if there's stronger combos out there, but I'm guessing they've all been found at this point.
 
Yes, I imagine almost all combos have been found by now. But on a side note, I am having trouble lately connecting slide after 214, particularly online. Is it lag or just me? I don't remember seeing anybody do it online.
