Young Kitana looks great. I'm not a fan of Kotal's design in this game though. He looks techy, the swords and armor look kinda si-fi. I liked his MKX look better.

The spoilers are the outcome of brief battle we see in the clip, as well where we see young Kitana and in whose company she is.

don't give up on Kitana so quickly - after all in a game with Kotal and Shao, Kitana is the current KHAN.
i think she'll shine in terms of gameplay and story development ...

Agreed. Hopefully MK11 will do this storyline justice and be satisfying.

Personally I can’t see any other way out of this narration other than the two timelines being “merged” somehow at the end (probably leading up to a Quan Chi / Onaga cliffhanger but hell I hope not).

In all seriousness, it never made sense to me that these assassins covered their faces yet wore bathing suits and bikinis. If the initial Eastern influence had been carried to logical design conclusion, Mileena and Kitana would have been more modestly dressed. I'm pleased to have this design aesthetic in recent games. Pandering to geeks who want women to have big boobs, porno outfits, and tiny waists is probably not the way to go in a more informed era of gaming.
