Starting Reptile

I main subzero and want a second main to use against some matchups and i like reptile.

i know his bnbs but need some help.

what should my general strategy be?stay away and zone?presure with 3 2 1 string?

are the bnb's hard to do?i'm starting to get the hang of d4 acid hand.

some help needed in general.

how long will it take me to play him at

a newbie lvl
a casual lvl
a decent/good lvl
a great lvl

i also play 80% of the male cast and almost all the ninjas so if anyones game is similar to reptiles it'd be easier.
