Hey guys, A.R.K. IV is coming up September 17th-18th in Jacksonville, AR! We are expecting ~200 people with games such as SSF4:AE, SF 3S:OE, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Melee, Brawl, BB:CS II, and more! Competitors are coming in from at least 6-7 several states to compete!

Note that our tournament is working on securing sponsorships from well known companies which will each be providing additional prizes and bonus pots for our tournaments. The Traveling Circus has expressed interest as of this time. Also, well-known regional modder DaRabidDuckie will be on hand to provide dual mods (PS3 <-> 360) for fight sticks.

I'd normally respond to replies on this thread, but I'm so busy with Med School that I don't have time (though I may check in once in a while if there's interest). Please try to make it and show your support not only for us, but for the regional MK community as a whole. Thanks guys!

I'm down for Monday. Ill bring a ps3 copy.

Only five people showed up on Friday lol.
Me, PsychoShot, Jody, Killshot and Kiet.

We had a round robin where we all just played each other.
I went 4-0 and Jody, Kiet and Killshot all went 2-2, so they played each other for second place and I think Killshot got 2nd.

Cool beans, I will go next time there's a tournament at Danno's. And if any of you guys host casuals at your houses or whatever, I'd love to get some experience with the game. I'm terrible. I suck, really, really bad. Fair warning. My number is 314-265-9589.

Damn...thank you STL for blowing me up today.
I'm going to take a break from this game (especially online) and hopefully get back to tip top shape in the upcoming weeks.

Yea, I'll definitely do better next week. Started fizzling out on those last matches against Jody. Gonna focus 100% on Sektor to level up just in case I go to Season's Beatings.

Sounds good dude. There's a big difference from online games to offline games. I could tell you were strugglin with execution so it certainly can't hurt.

So whats up everyone. I havent played mk in a bit well mk9 at all but been playing the arcade collection. I wanna get some games in sometime with you guys again. Let me know if your down to play and ill see if i can make it. im pretty rusty at mk9 but ill get it back hopefully

Sup Rob? Usually Monday nights at my place and Aaron sometimes has a hook-up on Thursdays where MK is being played. All cheap characters btw. ;)
