What do the startup frames mean during the combo string parts? For instance, 1 is 7 frames, 11 is 6 frames and 112 is 13 frames.

Does that mean that there's 6 frames in between the two 1's, so that's safe but there's 13 frames between those and the 2, so there's a gap there where people can poke you or something?

No.

Generally for strings, the most important thing is the startup of the first hit.

The startup of a string is really only relevant on whiff as it shows the gap between active attacking hitboxes.

Gaps between strings are a combination of the block stun of the preceding hit and the startup of the next hit.

However, you were reading it right.

1 starts up in 7 frames, then there’s 6 frames between active hitboxes, then 13 frames between the 11 and the last hit of the string.

This doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a gap however.

Nice in the game energy ring is still -21 on block, amp -25 on block but in the practice room I realized that it is much less minus lol. Then checked the thread.
